Ripe is a pop band influenced by jazz, soul, and rock. They’re led by the fearless and joyously inviting presence of frontman Robbie Wulfsohn. Wulfsohn’s goal in every performance is just to get the crowd moving, and he’s well-versed in leading by example. He, along with the rest of the septet, encourages listeners to get lost in the saucy grooves by giving all they have on stage. It’s a simple social experiment meant to push egos aside and revel in the music alone. Each brightly dressed, colorful performer provides a unique attitude and style as their contribution to the spectacular collage that is Ripe. So clear some space in your living room, dust off your slickest shoes, and join in grooving along to their insatiable performance here on Audiotree Live.

Why does no one talk about the amazing intro to this video even that is wild
I listened to a song that was posted to Reddit a while ago and loved it, but at the time was broke, forgot to bookmark the song. Saw the band in my RUclips recommended playlist today and remembered how much I loved the music. Great jams and horns are seriously underrated in music nowadays. Just bought both EPs and the live recording on iTunes. Keep up the jam brothers and always play for fun.
Usually not a fan of live performances because the mixing is usually messed up, but goddamn I think I prefer these guys live instead of an album
Dapper Dog I just saw them live at my university. Then I listened to the album. Holy shit theye are so much better live. That singer is ridiculously amazing

I find that to be true about a lot of bands that come on Audiotree. They're mixing is always incredible! The live versions from Pinegrove's audiotree session are forsure better than the album versions.

Damn! My complaint about Funk is that it so often lacks strong melodic content, but this is just great music, whatever you call it.
Getting that energetic ToP vibe off Stanky. They're all great players but the songwriting is the reason it's so exciting.

The lead guitarist is amazing but the vocals are incredible. I loved Goon Squad, it was even better than the Spotify version which was where I found Ripe.

Daniel Rojas Arboleda no, there isn't, at least not that I have found. The new album joy in the wild unknown, has a version of the song. That part of the song is played faster, but it's still an excellent song.

Is that an electric flute of some kind? It has a really nice sound to it!
It is an Akai ewi. More like an electronic sax from what I understand. But it is a synthesizer, but it has a mouthpiece so you control the tone/volume by moving air through the instrument, but you can get whatever kind of sound you wish with one of those. Really awesome stuff in my opinion.
