Sadly just became a fan not too long ago...but had no fucking clue jens was 52...mad fucking respect for how long these guys been together and still continue to play
@@rmr5044 Yes it is me :) I'm a LOT more critical of my own playing than what you were in your comment and I actually agree somewhat with you so it's all good :)
Sounds ridiculously good, especially with the much more clear guitar and bass tones. I'd love to see a live recorded album of their older stuff with good modern production.
@@ScarGuitar I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't keep you in the band, given how Fred only contributed a few leads and solos to the latest album and generally seems kinda checked-out... I'm sure they could have expanded the band to a five-piece!

They have their own light guy other wise that couldn't be improvised unless you knew the songs very well and studied the light settings, stage set up and cues. And if you're not the bands technician you won't do that, look up a video of the light guy live, it's sick
The only band who the 1st time I heard them,I thought they were a studio creation,I didn't believe humans played it and could perform it live flawlessly.
I wonder if Jens has ever sang the "juicy" version live, just for the memes. This performance, though, is the definition of "tight", according to every dictionary in existence.
Edvard, you have either impeccable sense translation, able to take audio and translate complex music into abstract visual masterworks of light. Or you snuck triggers in there...lol. awesome work
Man that light show is awesome. At 0:47 the lights go up with the guitars bend up and down again when they bend down. So good.
My word. All these years and Jens still sounds like a monster. Maybe even a little deeper.
He's like 52 years old now, but he age well and the deeper voice fits their music even better
On a bad day he sounds great. On a good he sounds like a demon summoned directly from hell.
@Zelim Lyrically this isn't an angry band. Definitely dark but not angry. Knocked Loose is an angry band
@Zelim 🤡
Venue owner: So how many lights do you want?
Meshuggah: Yes
Can't believe Jens is 52 and still going full force omfg.

He had a couple years where it seemed to be going down hill, but he fucking obviously pulled it back around \m/ rocks especially in this show man
@@THERAMMSTEINFAN490 what do you mean by "going down hill"?
It’s because he drinks JUICE.
The Light Engineer is GOD...RESPECT...
Awesome to hear Per Nilsson’s super melodic take on all these songs
That’s the nature of improvisation. I think he does a great job
Thank you, I do try my very best :)

Their Alive album from 2010 is one of the best sounding live albums I've heard
@@amahon921 The Ophidian Trek sounds so much better. 😵
I was there, first row, right in front of the FOH PA stack. Blew out my back a few hours earlier. Best massage I ever had...
That solo couldn't have been more fitting.
Thank you!

Fucking kidding me? The man himself answer your publication? Dude, you should take a print of this moment.

3:25 amazing to see the lights synced to Tomas' fill.
I’m so glad I missed the end of Ozzy for this
Greatest live bass sound ever
It just keep getting more and more massive. Violent sleep of reason damnit!
Meshuggah is one such band that is getting better with time. The lighting, the tone, the music, the vocals, the overall performance _/\_
I LIKE JUICE!
Jens is an absolute machine. Saw them live at Bloodstock last year and he still sounds so good.
Love how this liveclip sounds better edited than most official bluray releases of other bands sounds overall. Thanks för sharing.
This song never gets old....this is awesome quality!
I wish I could headbang to this without draining my life force
Fantastic Laser Show.
Your lighting shows are always top notch! Well done
This sound is incredible!
Meshuggahs live performances are insanely professional
the best video of any meshuggah concert
Please please please keep posting more of these. Your light programing is that missing element needed to really vibe out on Meshuggah.
That bass tone is ridiculous 🤘
That's a realllll interesting bass tone, it's so snakey and midrangey. I love it
I call it punchy bass!
phenomenal Video! thanks alot!
Thanks! At long last that remarkable event we were happy to attend is available in HD with reasonable sound.
Pure Gold!
Most primal song ever
dude. your light show is legendary. meshuggah live wouldn't be the same without you.

They're so fucking tight live. Amazing

Glorious!

Sounds like it was recorded in studio heaping kudos to sound peeps!!!
crushing as fuck. some serious face-melting shit right here
Why does this sound so gnarly
What a fkkng monstruousal riff, cleaning my ass while i shacking my head!!!!!!
damn this is art
That looks amazing!
No Meshuggah vid ever fails me. Side question: why don't they do the slide-downs on the bridge riff?
Good observation.. not sure. It sounds weird. If it was written that way it wouldn't be odd... but it's very noticeable.
Incredible stage presence without the bullshit egos, let their music do all the talking!
I wonder if Jens has ever sang the "juicy" version live, just for the memes.

What a fking beast mate.
EVERYTHING EGGSALAD

Hypnotic 😍
Brutal!!!!!!
see you in Alcatraz Kortrijk!
goddamn the light engineer be counting time signature 14/43 over 61/18 or some shit
i have not counted longer than 4 on meshuggah
Man responsible for visual stroke is brother of one guy from band, don't know which one
Oh my fucking god. Fuck.
You’re a master
Normally I couldn't care less about the light show but this just outstanding
Theres a clip of their light guy literally playing the lights, its crazy look it up
Must say, definitely prefer the solo on this song to the original.
