- These Dominican Style Fried Pork Chops are super delicious, juicy, and tender. The best part about this recipe is that I use almost the same marinade as I use to season my Dominican Style Pernil. The end result is an irresistible, crispy, pork chop that pairs well with any side dish especially freshly squeezed limes. All in all these Dominican Fried Pork Chops are fairly easy to make and quick. There are a ton of different pork chop recipes and so many different ways to make fried pork chops. I hope you enjoy my recipe!

The family is loving it! Thank you!
Glad you enjoy it!
Haven't scrolled through all the comments but a tip to prevent curling of the pork chop while frying is to make cut marks into the fat along the outside. I wonder if a lower frying temp would prevent the seasoning from going too far? Or if it doesn't effect the taste that is ok too.
+dbok awesome tip! I never thought to do that. I have to try that. Thanks for sharing!

OMG!! so delicious. Thank you for sharing. The best flavor and perfect crust on the chuletas. Can you do a pavo and trifongo recipe?
oooo I love these suggestions. So good. Writing them down now so that I don't forget. Yum. Yum. Yum. Thank you for watching!
Hi Chef Zee. Great receta. I just made them and they tasted great. Can I miention it on my show?
This is my second time making it this way. 😊
Zee I love your Videos.. I Subbed today and only issue is that for how many LBS.? These ingredients are? As I am in the Kitchen mirroring you.
So happy I found you and of course I subscribed. You remind me of my nieces so much, it's like you guys are twins. Wanted to ask you , when you brine the meats do you rinse the meat with water afterward or just pour out the brine juices. Thanks😘
Yay welcome to the family. When I brine it, I pour out the water and rinse it once more :) Thanks for watching
My fav🤤
I am looking for the list on what you used and how much to add.
Moro is the black beans with cumin and a green pepper and garlic right? Please show this recipe for me lol
Hi do you have any Dominican Chivo guisado recipies
+Lovelie Joesph I do! I'll most likely share that recipe in the fall 😊😊😊 thanks for watching!
Can I use boneless pork chops for this recipe?
Yep! I did it with both. It just takes a little less time to fry.
I have a question I have sazon adobo & sofrito is that enough seasoning ingedients to stove cook chuletas or any o cualquier carne?
That's definitely enough seasoning ingredients to make stove top chuletas. If possible, I would add some a fresh lime to the marinade just to liven up the flavors a bit. Otherwise, you are totally fine. ENJOY! Thanks for watching :)
yum
Does the brine make it salty?
Just came across your vlog Subscribed for sure!!! 🤗🍽Yum!!!
Yay! Welcome to the family
What should I do if I put the pork chops into the hot oil too soon
This Irish guy has them marinating in fridge and can’t wait to start cooking them in an hour!
Love your channel!!! Flavor is sooo good and juicy
Question Chef Zee: after you brine the pork chops do you wash it again with water? Or do you damp it with a papertowel before seasoning ?.....
I rinse it again with water :)
@@Chefzeecooks I made it yesterday ....It was way toooooo acidy🥴....going 2 try it again and this time I will rinse it before adding any seasoning
Omg, I love the video and the recipe will be tried tonight. But no doubt it will be amazing? Still breaking my neck what is Moro?
+gloria crespin thanks for watching! Moro is rice cooked with beans 😊 I have two Moro recipes on my channel.
how many minutes the pork chops on each side please ??!!
Thanks
Great video..
Thank you!
great video! can you make a video on how to make ropa vieja?
+Dylan Kelly of course! That video is in the works 😊 it's one of my favorites dishes. Thanks for watching!
hola mami great recopies :}}} looking forward to cooking
😋😋😋
This is gunna be my first Dominican dish...my boyfriend is Dominican/PR and he used to make these and loves them...wish me luck....
Any extra tips?????? I just hope I dont burn the oil 🤦♀️
I'm gonna do lamb chops this way
You da bomb!
Can you substitute lime juice for lemon juice?
Yes of course. It's going to have a slightly more fruity taste since Lemons are a bit sweeter and lighter than limes. Nonetheless, it will still be delicious!
Can I use corn oil?
+Wilson Rodriguez of course!
What cut of pork chop do you like to use? Rib end? Pork loin?
Hi my comment or question is why didn't you give the measurements of the ingredients you used you only state weekday you wad using not the amount or portion of the ingredients you was using.
Hey thanks for watching! I include the exact measurements in a few areas. I put them in the ingredient overlay/list in the beginning of the video as well as in the description box and on my website. I don't give exact measurements whenever I'm talking it through because I don't want to speak too fast while doing the voiceover. The video moves fairly quickly and saying all the measurements would just be too much. Nonetheless, as I mentioned before, you can find the exact measurements in different areas all of which are linked to the video. I hope this helps and Happy Sunday.
Yum! Ty 👍❤️
You're welcome! Thank you for watching!
Can you help me? A friend from my youth his mother made pork. It looked like roasted in the oven but it was a type of porkbelly. She used to cutt it in big cunks..and we eat it with rice and some salade. Please can you help me make this? I dont see the mother amymore and cant ask anyone..thank you
That is called Pernil or Roast Pork and she has it on her channel now :)
It has to be Dominican oregano?
No you can use regular oregano if that's what you have. Dominican oregano has a very distinct flavor which I always like to specify whenever I'm making Dominican dishes :)
I was happy you switched to your hands that could have been painfully time consuming
What if I leave it over night ?
❤️......🙏🏾
Thanks Chef Zee. Great recipe. Turned out awesome! Side note: Damn girl you are so fine!!!
Yay so happy to hear! Thank you for the compliment :)
Fun fact! If you score the fat cap around the pork chop it wont curl up while you cook it.
You are too cute!
Super Hottie Chef Zee
nice recipes.
Me laffin at white people watchin.👀 As all those seasoning cover the meat 😅😅😅
I'm so down
Hiiiiiiiiiii
Put vinegar almost cook the pork chop.
+Keenan K the vinegar will start to cure the pork but also makes it really juicy
I'm not hating, but I hate when people cook fried pork chops this way, like where the heck is the crunchy skin at?!
You're probably thinking of chicharrones. That's a different cut of pork that has the skin where you get that awesome crispy skin at the end. Pork chops are much leaner cut of meat from a different part of the pig hence no skin :)
