Syncaila | Audio Syncing Review

Thanks for the review. I am using PluralEyes since 4 years and going to drop it because of the company ending it. I was already annoyed when maxon took it over or merged with red giant, and they were launching new pricing and subscription models. I had bought a lifetime license but they don't care about their customers. As a result of ending their update program, I now get slightly out of sync sound from 3 cams and a lav mic, which annoys the h*** out of me. DR18.5 doesn't have multiclip sync so it's cumbersome to sync a days shoot. Will be definitively looking into Syncaila, should have chosen this in the first place I now believe. Thanks for your video. I tried Syncaila but it didnt do a perfect job. I was using PluralEyes until it stopped working.
Syncaila didnt the clips perfectly like PE used to sync clips.
what can I do?

@Hacksreal1 that sometimes happens but I haven't found a fix yet. Unfortunately it's your best option at the moment

Nicel video! I have a question that I can't find an answer about sync, always when I export with Syncalia, my audio tracks are duplicated and the sound is on the left side. as a workaround I have to set a mono track and if I delete an audio track the sound loses quality.
Is there any solution to this?

Hmm, I've actually never had that happen to me. I just put all the clips and audio tracks on their on tracks and have every track start on the far left.

No, not that I know of. I think you have to import an xml file from your video editing software

So basically do not go near Pluraleyes, i used it perfectly for the last 6 years, but it has become totally unusable now, maxon have no interest in Pluraleyes anymore, it crashes all day long, shocking really considering it was a lifetime purchase, i have them know my feelings, this syncalia, looks great, hopefully they wont drop in the years ahead.

By exporting XML from DR, you will only get MONO files, and that's not ok.
