  • Four years ago, far-right terrorist Anders Breivik carried out a massacre in a camp run by the youth branch of the Norwegian Labor Party. Now a summer camp is reopening on Utøya island. Hundreds of young people have already registered to attend.

    my friends sister was one of the teenage girls that diead that day. she tried to swim but she couldnt cause the current was to strong for her. when she swam back she tried to hide but he shot her on a cliffside right next to the water.

    Anders will be eligible for parole in 20 years--he will be in his 40s when he gets out-great criminal justice system Norway !!

      he will never get parole. He will stay in jail for the rest of his life. I do not think you understand the norwegian penal system.

      the max is 21 years but it will get renewd and he will never come out again

      They will never let him out, because he has stated he’s proud of his crimes and won’t hesitate to commit them all over again. He *can* seek for parole after a certain time, simply because the democratic law system allows his case to be heard, but the severity of his crimes, and the massive wound his criminal actions left on the country of Norway, means his pleas will never be granted. He was sentenced to ”containment”, which is a rare form of prison sentence in Norway, where his case will be tried every 5 years after the first 21 years of his sentence. The possibility Breivik will be set loose to roam the streets within his lifetime is slim to none. He’s the enemy of the state and it’s people no. 1.

      He will not get out. He is eligible for parole after 21 years, but he will never get parole.
