I love Yegor as much as the next guy, but let’s be honest, that was a win-win trade. Sharangovich was buried on a deep devils team, and Toffoli is their leading scorer. If NJ were healthy all season, or if the goalies were any better for them, they would be cruising into the playoffs

I don’t understand the coaches of teams at the NHL level when they don’t use the strong sides of the players, Sharangovich has a deadly shot, a pure sniper like Ovechkin, but in New Jersey they don’t give him time in PP and try to make him a defensive forward, and in Calgary they transfer him to giving the center the role of playmaker...why, this guy knows how to score)

Sharangovich used to be on the right wing but after the Elias Lindholm trade he was forced to move to center.
The Flames are going to try and target a young center in a Noah Hanifin trade so they can move Sharangovich back to right wing

Когда вы пишите о сильных сторонах игроков, то почему-то забываете о слабых. И слабости Шаранговича ничуть не меньше выразительны чем его достоинства. В атаке он хорош ровно в той мере в которой соперник оставляет ему чистый лёд. Есть проблемы с приёмом шайбы, борьбой на борту и пятаке, принятием решений в позиционных атаках. Это только из атакующего набора. И то что ему якобы не давали времени в PP так это не совсем правда. Ему не "не давали времени в PP", в PP он провёл около 10 игр, только выглядело это крайне отвратительно - постоянные потери шайбы, проблемы со входом в зону, его бригада большинства была одной из худших в НХЛ, ну и полную глубину провала подчеркнула пропущенная в большинстве шайба (или даже 2). После этих приключений пенять тренерам нужно не за то что его из большинства убрали, а за то что сделали это слишком поздно. Кстати в Калгари, которое ему доверяет игру в большинстве, показатели команды ниже плинтуса...
И что ещё делать тренерскому штабу с игроком который может играть только в равных и меньшинстве? Почему такого игрока нельзя пробовать нижних звеньях?)
