CHASE ME CHARLIE | UP TO 1M40

Here’s a short video of myself and my friend Ella having some fun doing a chase me charlie at home! I’m on Vegas who finished on 1m40 and Ella rose Crystal who finished on 1m30. All fences were measured.

The way that they jump is incredible, Vegas didn’t even seem phased by the height of that and seemed to jump it smoothly. I envy your horses so much 😂. This was so fun to watch.

Am I the only one who thinks that Ella needs much better training for her equatation to be jumping that high? I don't mean this in a rude or hateful way but she is pulling way too hard on the horse and leaning back on the approach. I myself have a very speedy Ex racehorse and understand that pulling feels like the right thing to do but it actually teaches bad habits and can hurt the horse. I can tell that Ella is a talented rider Im just suggesting more training on how to properly handle the ponies speed in other ways than pulling and leaning back.

It's basically where riders and their horses starting at jumping low jumps. They get progressively higher and the last rider/horse combo who doesn't knock a fence wins!
