In my eyes this is clickbait comparing the title to the content in the video. On that alone the producer of the video immediately lost my trust in any of their future content, expecting nothing much and thus losing my view. I'm not a RUclipsr myself, but from my understanding views mean money. In order to get a better viewer count you need to have a trusting viewership. By using clickbait a channel can't come to their full potential. (Plus it personally pisses me off when people waste my time because I just wanted to see the answer to the title, did he really get banned?) I'm sure millions of other viewers out there share the same sentiment.

It's a good thing that Jack lost for a change, and people act like they are dead in the water or something or that LSG was to hard, from what it looked like they did get most of the base defenses, which is the the primary goal? not the rocket. And don't forget the giant space station laser they have that can easily make work of almost any drone ship sent their way, either way good job on the colony survival so far
They did not plan this out well enough. They pooled everything they had and it was far behind what you’d need to brute force a base like this. They should have dug a tunnel in, maybe even used one of Aaron’s old entryways, and started scrapping everything they could find. A ten person infiltration team could have easily taken that base, if they’d used actual tactics. But no, a reckless charge is far more cinematic than ten James Bonds.

for role playing reasons I'm guessing taking out the tower would disable the drones so it kind of made sense in that way at least.
to b fair, all i saw when they first spotted the ship was the main top cannon and didn't c the cannons lining the front until they obliterated their rocket
Yeah but why would you have only one relay tower? You would think LSG would make other relays across the galaxy incase one was destroyed (LSG did say in the video he could call drones from other galaxies). Honestly I don’t think destroying the Relay tower will sever the drones connection, they will have to find the main hive.
Jack wouldn't know that the tower can summon ships from "other galaxies".

I didn't want Jack to be wiped out, just confronted with greater challenges. But I was not disappointed! I expected you to force a retreat, but this was incredible!

I have a cool idea. How about before they even get turrets or vehicles up you spawn a mech by their base and put gattling guns and a drill on it (the drill is just for people who try to grind you down) and start picking them off with the gun. It'll be a Group vs Mech gunfight where they'd have to take you down with their own personal guns and not a ship

I watched Jack's vid on it and I must say, I would never decide to thrust my main ship into potentially huge battle without knowing first what I'm dealing with. That is a certain death as this vid has shown :P

All is not lost. they still have the station in orbit and can build better ships. Loosing 1 ship to a crash cost them allot. Captain Jack should consider air dropping hardware/defenses to the planet for the next fight.

Jack had tunnel vision here. In his video the top gunner (who had NO line of sight of the radio tower) asked to fihre on your big turret ship, but Jack denied him. Big mistake.

I just watched CaptainJacks new series for the first time and watched this battle thinking he was fighting AI. MFW I see this video and realize it's LSG! It was fun to see the different perspective. Especially the part where they one-shotted that cannon because the shields were flicked off.

A huge abandon moon or planet base with the only entrance being a huge shaft that travels deep into the ground would be a cool way to give them a outdated drone carrier, that they could retrofit and use to attack your hive ship or a convoy of slow moving vessels with a medium sized destroyer- The extra resources would give them a jumpstart so they don’t have to spend lots of hours rebuilding only to have them destroyed the next day.
finally Jack getting a beating and being set back for once! I really hope this was click bait because I was about to rage how you made his entire series actually interesting to watch. but the LOL on your main cannon instantly getting blown away and your secondary fire takes them all out anyway. Captain Jack's crew is like mash between Spaceballs and The Three Stooges squared! They get lucky a lot doing a clown act, but when strategy is required they just start juggling their people and resources. It's hilarious! At least they accidentally and subconsciously might have figure out you can't win a war without infantry, specially against a technologically superior enemy, every thinking man counts, their problem is the thinking part so they don't just turn into meat for the grinder! Anyway, all hail the infantry!
Another thing I would love to see is you use those limpit drones like the parachute one or the drilling one - a literal swarm of those (like 25 or so) would be awesome to sneakily attach when he is parked in a large ship next time but well hidden. Then in the middle of combat you could activate them

This assault was a lot like Stannis's attack on Winterfell. Overwhelming losses before the battle even begins, and then when the battle happens, it's over before it began.
honestly i watched both sides and all in all id say it was a good encounter. its been painfully obvious that you have pulled your punches. The "colony" spends too much time bickering and not enough time coordinating. Hopefully this will put a fire under their heels.

No, they rolled with it.... and a victory preceded the drone's defeat.
Targeting the radio grid for the drones wasn't a wholly bad idea, to the contrary, in fact, it was a gamble, and the risk was worth taking, considering it was a fully functioning drone factory, the idea of taking out the hive mind relay was a sound one. But, as in actual warfare, they had no idea of what was in store, given what they had fought before was pathetic to OK it's even understandable. But taking into consideration that this was a military installation, AND a drone factory, the drones actually stood to loose some valuable, it shouldn't have been surprising to find a bigger, meaner, fish in their galactic pond. After, in all the previous conflicts, the drones never lost something even remotely valuable.
That was pretty brutal Aaron, good show!

A major victory for the drones! Plus seeing jack team winning was kind of getting boring. Seeing a win on the drone side makes it more fun and does make it reasonable.

The shot that took out Big Bertha was an accident lol
It's a major tactical disaster for Jack to not get himself a second ship by either fixing the ACI multi environment frigate or build a new one.
Had he waited it out instead of rushing after the initial scouting for information, he could've enhanced his fleet and stand a better chance at dealing with reinforcements.
Funny how even without Big Bertha, he still ripped Jack and Co to dust within 2 volleys.
Sad how i am still building this massive ship equipped with spinal lasers made into a sort of drill and with a distant want for it to be in a fight here.
I enjoyed it...and I dont know why everyones all butt-hurt about him using 'banned' in the title. I didnt read it as literal..he wrecked them and went a bit overboard possibly...but it also makes for a good video on Shacks part, i watched that one first actually. Im sure he got an ear full though XD
First big ship gets totaled, then the current big ship gets blown out of the sky, any smaller back up ships gone, now they have to start humbly from scratch. Drone force isnt to be reckoned with if you're not prepared, now Shack and his crew are going to have to take different measures instead of thinking they'll easily plow through all the simple drones they've been facing...
Ok so you need to give each drone its own independent AI so it can function without the main antenna
I am struggling to build an automatic drone factory (with projectors and such) and I can’t seem to get it to work, any ideas? The drones are very small, slightly larger than 1 large ship block.

If you've watched the footage from Cap. Jack's side of things you'll see he actually tells his 'slaves' aka team mates, to ignore the fast approaching deadly looking ship and concentrate all there weapons onto their former base. While it may of not been the smartest of moves it was probably meant to be a staged scenario which went horribly wrong. Yet while it did prove funny to see Jack's team get swatted like flies behind a fly swatter, it is going to prove hindering to them surely now that they're back to square one.
How is the game now? I haven't touched it in years... like when they first added pistons I think or the couplers to connect different ship parts together

Tip: you can control multiple ships with rdavs fleet control 2. You can target seperate ships and control them or the whole fleet.
Mount the big bertha cannons to the base so that you don't have to make an entirely new ship.
Did you get band from coloni lost because you did it?? Is that whay the GDA where introduced
Aaron you should probably take a look at the RDAV fleet command script/mod. It'll actually allow you to coordinate drone squadrons to do extra damage instead of spawning drones in with preset coordinates and hope they do something.

to be fair everyone always does defenses wrong i start with fortifying the base first yes but then i build outlying turrets expanding out from the base and keep them stocked with ammo as the enemy approaches from any angle there getting shot at and when they hit the base they get shot by the big guns to finish them off

I think it's nice to force them to rethink their plans or flat out lose, "heroes" who always win. never learn.

His own problem. The script feels rushed, they never prepare, if they do decide to make something they do half the job and then take it in anyways. ignoring that massive ship and getting deleted by it felt sooo scripted, just like their "crash" this series should slow down for a propper battle instead of this building a half functioning ship that gets deleted instandly.

I mean to be honest i think if you watch it from Captain Jack's perspective, they could have won that fight if the captain didn't keep ignoring the GIGANTIC ship coming in but he kept telling his crew to focus all fire power on the base to take it back.
Anyways, I had a neat Idea, what you could possibly throw at them if they get that base back eventually (and they didn't ban you xD) ,

Remodified with Auto Turrets (and as long as you ask Black Armor if he's fine with you Guys using his creations and give him credit ) that could be an amzing fight and change it up a little from those good old drones.
LSG, if you actually read this comment and got so far, here's my second idea, how about a drone sent long range (maybe with a modded antenna?) to relase some of your earlier creations such as those grinderbots to target their spaceport for some fun results? Make em fly back up to a station full of holes :)

wasn't the point of you and your drones fighting them to make it more interesting by you guys have a back and forth you win some time they win some times kind of thing. also wounded the lost of a large part of there forces be a good thing in a way for them sine it can show them making a grand come back and some time in the future to take out the drone cruiser and take back there base.... I mean if I were them I would make that cruise kind of like some end boss for the season or something maybe even give it a nick name oh and of course for it show but now and aging to be a so call force of nature till the end of the season where they make some kind of bigger ship to take it down. But oh well a lost opportunity ever way you did a great job with that ship and maybe when that update for space engineers releases you can make your own survive or find some one else to be the bad guy in there survival and maybe make idea of a bad guy goals and job a little clear so they know....I rambling so I just going to stop now k bye
Jack shouldn't have focused on the base.
The base had only a few vulcan turrets, while that drone ship was a massive weapon platform, lets shoot the base 😁
the base was the objective. they knew they were going to die before they began, watch the other video.
The point is, ordering the small ship to focus the cannons on the incoming ship was the tactically better decision. Venom told Jack that the in coming ship had heavy weaponry. Jack let that ship get too close and he payed the price. Unless it was for pre planned plot, Jack's lack of target prioritizing got his ships wiped out.
they already knew they'd lose against it. the objective was the base. if they'd gone after the bigger ship they wouldn't have achieved anything trying to weaken the bases capabilities and they still would have died. I'd say they made the tactically superior decision, that base was a mess by the time they died.
Bane that ship would have been totaled if they fired at it, like every ship they fought at that stage take a few shots
In all reality, your easy victory was do to their actual battleship smashing into the planet.
