- Hi guys!
On today's video I'll be sharing my excitement about these gorgeous water soluble pencils by Caran d'Ache: the Supracolor Soft. I've been using them for years, mostly dry, but they work beautifully diluted too. Their colour range is very beautiful and crosses over some of the other Caran d'Ache supplies like the Neocolor crayons and they offer excellent coverage, as you'll see later in the video on my black paper swatches. If you like vibrant colours as much as I do, I'm sure you'll fall in love with them like me.
Which is your favourite colour? Let me know in the comments.

Caran D'Ache were my first pro watercolour pencils. My grandmother bought a big box in Switzerland for me when I was 10 and it lived with me for so many years! I recently bought a new box to replace that one (got lost in a trip to Poland), and they're still as wonderful as ever!
Oh such a nice memory!
I’m about to buy some here. The colours are so vibrant and smooth.
Using them for regular colouring is the single most money saving and smart thing I’ve heard. I recently watched a video and this RUclipsr was reviewing Albert Dürer. She said those were the only pencils she uses. Wet and dry! I could have saved myself a few thousand(s). I have the Pablos and love them.
Yes, I have the Albrech Durer also and I find their texture very comparable. They’re both vibrant, rich, soft, and pleasure to work with dry. With the added bonus of being water soluble.
Such a lovely video, thankyou💗🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I also love your studio💗
Thank you! I appreciate it ☺️

I have some supracolor pencils too. I love some blue and brown colors..
They have a lovely range
I bought the museum aquarelle full set as a birthday gift to myself this past year.. and I wish I had purchased these instead. The museums are lovely, but the color range is very limiting. It wouldn't be so bad if it were regular watercolor paint that you can mix and dilute down but with a pencil you really need tint to shade range, and there are very few light shades in the line. Everything I draw tends to look the same with them, like I'm using a much smaller set of pencils.
You can always buy a few of these in lighter colours to add up to your set 😉
I fully agree regarding the Museum Aquarelles
