In all fairness it’s not like it’s hard to mod in money on GTA, you can use cheat engine and turn literally any car into whatever amount of money you want. I’ve gotten 500,000,000 multiple times

I really don't want to offend you, but bad tires are exactly what you need for drifting. especially when the game (in this case gta5 now) has such arcade unrealistic physics... you only have wheelspin in a FULLY tuned car if you drive under ~50-60mph... from then on you suddenly have a traction controller that makes it impossible for you to drift normally/have wheelspin on backtires... play asseto corsa, forza, granturismo... what ever. then you understand gta5 driving physics are broken

Actually the cars do drift well because oversteer and not counter steering will cause you to spin out.

@@Njale You know, you can force a downshift with the "double clutch boost", as the GTA kids call it. I would suggest a spoiler if you're new though, and NO "stancing" or slippery tires BS. I started with the original Futo, but when you switch to the Futo GTX it's kind of impossible to go back.

I would care about these upgrades if they just added the option to remove traction control, because otherwise these physics just don’t allow for actual proper drifting.
Edit: It’s also because of the fact that for some reason rockstar straight up *decreases your horsepower* when you lose even the slightest bit of traction.

Rockstar has had 7 full years to add drift mechanics yet they refuse to add anything that could even resemble that because they are seemingly allergic to game improvements.

Did y’all know on some of the tuner cars if you change the stance of it (go to interaction, vehicles, then vehicle stance *lowered*) you’ll have the ability to drift easier, like the ZR350 works with it

the problem is that you can't really drift on a higher speed
yeah you can only get semi decent drifts at super low speeds where your car barely gets any angle whatsoever or else it spins out

@@rzsz491its physically impossible in the game, either you oversteer too much that you spin out or you dont get enough angle and the car misses the turn. You would have to lose all your speed in order to maintain the angle.

The vehicles does not even have a forward push while drifting instead in this game the drifting physics does not make sense , in real life every vehicle applies forward push during a drift

In my opinion, no. Just don’t upgrade the brakes. That way you still have control of the car while drifting at high speeds.

Idk, I'm doing pretty well with the low grip tires xD I guess it kinda depends of the person and the car. Some cars are just better for drifting without those tires.
