Magic Kingdom With a Toddler + Fireworks Dessert Party | December 2022

- After a budget friendly breakfast at Steakhouse 71, we started our day at Magic Kingdom. We ended up utilizing a service called Standby Skipper and we were able to get lightning lanes for the Mickey meet and greet, Buzz Lightyear, Dumbo, and the Tiana/Rapunzel meet and greet all before 11:30am with a toddler! After a nap break, we came back to Magic Kingdom for the fireworks dessert party!

Loved seeing Ellie's reaction to the characters and her face when she said Buzz Lightyear was her favorite. Priceless! Looks like another great day. Love it!
We’ve heard so many great things about Standy Skipper and can’t wait to try it out for ourselves! So nice that the baby care center is there and available with everything you need. And yes! Casey’s is so good…especially *some* of their seasonal hot dogs!

we are doing it for the first time mar 1 2023 the after party we have adult children.. and we are older so having a place to sit in the grass early and relaxing after a long day at MK is a must for us..either way cant wait

Do you think Standby Skipper creates challenges for other Genie+ users to get optimal return times?
In my opinion, no. Essentially standby skipper is doing the exact same thing I would do to book a lightning lane, the perk is that I don’t have to be the one scrolling on my phone and constantly refreshing for updated return times 🙌🏼

Yes, currently Standby Skipper is $25 per day or $45 per week. I heard about it from my friend, Dana! She had such a great experience using them, I knew I had to try it out! ☺️

When you leave the park and then came back on the same day is it necessary to pay the parking lot again?
Your parking receipt applies all day long, even if you leave and come back ☺️
Great video! We have reservations for the dessert party in February. Do you need to check in right at 6:45 and stay the whole time or can you show up a little later. I’m not sure our toddlers will sit the whole time.
Thanks Niki! You can check in at any point, and you’re free to come and go ☺️ We checked in late for the same reason, I knew Ellie wouldn’t sit still for that long 😅

My husband and I are going to DW for the first time in January. We are west coast residents and Disneyland is our usual trip every few years. Are they still encouraging mobile order for quick service at places like Casey’s Corner?
Mobile order is definitely easier and speeds things up, but it’s not required ☺️
