So fun!!!! We’ve done the dessert party twice and we loved it! Both times I’ve done it with my three sons and it was the best. So so so good for kids because yes, there’s no way they could have waited 2 hours for a spot. (And a glass of wine while watching fireworks is always a dream 😊)

We haven’t tried this yet, but I definitely think for a special trip it would be worth it! That’s good to know that they have gluten free options too! Mark Alan has been gluten free for a couple of weeks now to try to help with his migraines. But not having to fight crowds is almost worth the prices alone!
YES! Love that they have a gluten free option 👌🏼 But oh for sure, the reserved hub grass area is what makes it worth it for us 😍
Gosh, I don't even know you guys but watching your daughter watch fireworks at Disney gives me goosebumps and tears! Disney fireworks are sooo good and so emotional lol why?! I cry every time watching my girls watch them! lol! oh mom life

We've only ever done the seated version of the desert parties and have loved it. I would consider the hub grass, but honestly have never had an issue with the view and enjoy the chill environment.

Great info, my Husband & I did this years!!!! ago and liked it then. Wasn't sure since the price has gone way up since then and you sat at the small tables in the yard on the side. I'm 68, traveling by myself in Nov. and will be taking my last Disney trip (I'm sure, to many changes not for the good). I was on the fence but with your info, I'm booking. Thank you

Hello! Thank you so much for this video! :-) Can I ask what time of year you went? Was it a very crowded holiday season? I am interested in this pre-fireworks party, but we want to go in the month of December during the holidays. Do you think we will have as much room as you did to view the fireworks? Or do you think during the holidays It will be a more crowded dessert party?
This was during July, but I actually just did the pre party again a couple of days ago, and we had the same amount of space in the hub grass! :)
Hi Becca! I really appreciate your review and insight. We are seriously considering this for our trip in October but with a large family/expense, I was hesitant because the website says there is no refund for weather. Did a cast member tell you they would issue a refund if the fireworks are cancelled?
Absolutely!! I noticed the same thing on their website, which is why I called. Maybe it depends on which cast member you’re speaking to? 🤪 Or maybe they are a little more lax about it than what the website says.

Right?! The unlimited champagne was the real highlight 😅🙌🏼
We did the seats and treats in October and My husband said he doesn’t want to watch fireworks any other way from now on hahah Being able to sit at your own table away from the crowd while sipping champagne was sooo worth the price! (Family of 4)
You get hooked the first time!! 😆 I mean seriously, there’s really no better way to watch the fireworks 😍
Could you see the projections or did some have a limited view?
@@jackien4959 I couldn’t see all the projections. We were seated in the first row of tables along the railing and slightly to the left so we could see like 1/4 of the castle and the top half if that makes sense. However, Tinkerbell flies directly over you 🤗 my kids loved that!! Also we got to keep our stroller since we had our own table the whole time. My 4yo was kinda overstimulated and it was nice to be able to stick him in his stroller until the fireworks came on.
We are going in November for my sons birthday and sr thinking of doing the pre party because he will only be 2! Are there still good spots on the hub grass when you get out or are all the good spots taken by the post party people?
My recommendation is to stay in the back (plus that’s where strollers go). When the fireworks start, everyone will crowd towards the front leaving plenty of room in the back for your little one to move around ☺️
Question: what time do they let after party people in the hub? I plan on doing pre party so would we need to head to hub early?
You can head to the hub grass as early as you would like ☺️ I would say 15-30 minutes before the fireworks is when the hub grass gets full.
I'm so beyond thankful that you vlogged this! We are looking to do this in March when we go. Is there a concern of it selling out?
Yes, dessert parties typically sell out quick. I recommend booking right at the 60 day booking window ☺️
Coming back to this video with a question. Do you have to check in at the 90min mark or could we check in at more like 60mins? I was able to snag a 5:00 'Ohana dinner, but our dessert party check-in is at 6:45. I desperately want to do both!
You could absolutely make it! We actually had a 5:30 reservation at Grand Floridian Cafe, and made it to the check in desk for the dessert party by 6:50 👌🏼
We are 100% doing this the next time we take our daughter to Disney!!

We will be there end of Oct till Nov. One of us is in a a wheelchair. Doing this pre party, Is there different area for this for the fireworks or still grass ? How were the crowds in these special spots?
So exciting! The viewing area for the pre party is in the hub grass, and crowds can vary! You can see in the footage on the night we went, it was pretty full. But we still had plenty of room, about 15 feet of space with no one in front of us ☺️
Sounds so great especially with littles! Is this something you have to do reservations for like 60 days out like a lot of character dining? First time doing Disney!
Yes! You can purchase tickets through the website or over the phone 60 days out ☺️ I’ve linked where you can purchase tickets for each party in the description box 👍🏼
Hey Bekah! My mom and i are going to disney this August and we were wondering if this dessert party event was only during the 50th anniversary or if it would still happen during the whole year, considering that the 100th anniversary is happening at the moment?
Yes! The dessert party is not exclusive to the 50th ☺️

Absolutely! We stood in the back this time for my toddler to have more space, but the first time we did the dessert party, we stood in the very front with an even better view!

Do they limit the number of tickets for this event?
Yes, tickets do sell out. And it is recommended you purchase your tickets in advance ☺️
Do you know if they would accommodate a Dairy allergy? If so, I will try this on my next visit.

I noticed you were in the back of the hub area. Could you see the projections well? I am really short and I'm afraid I will not be able to see
We couldn’t see the projections great in the back, but you would be able to see them much better if you stood closer to the front of the hub grass ☺️
Would love to do this one day! When taking your almost 3 year old, did you ever have to show proof in the parks of her age? :)
Definitely add it to your Disney bucket list! No one asked about her age. I think they use their best judgment to only ask if the child looks to be older than 3. But no proof is required ☺️
Are you allowed to leave and come back? (Ride a ride?) What if you are late?
You are free to come and go ☺️ And you can show up as late as you want.

This looked good. I could not even get my daughter to go back to watch the fireworks the last time we went. She is a teenager though. Relaxing was more important for her so a no go for me.
Ah bummer! 😅 At least you have room to splurge on something else that you and your daughter can both enjoy ✨

i can see you not wanting to do after ..we are doing after we have older adult children..this way we can get a prime spot on the grass early and then eat after we are staying late anyway
Sounds fun and looks yummy but not worth it for us. Sooooo many food allergies between the three of us plus we don't drink. Too bad they don't offer a cheaper, non alcoholic version.

It was great to hear they have gluten free options, but I think my kids would be sad to see the whole buffet they couldn’t eat - not to mention they’re now ‘adult’ pricing. It adds up!
