    In chemistry, equivalent weight (also known as gram equivalent or equivalent mass) is the mass of one equivalent, that is the mass of a given substance which will combine with or displace a fixed quantity of another substance

    Sir why are we dividing the equivalent mass to the volume of solvent and not the volume of solution

  • @respectforever8974
    @respectforever8974 2 месяца назад

    This is very simple gram equivalent means the amount of substance that can accept or donate a mole of electrons therefore the normality can be defined as the number of moles of electrons that can be donated or accepted in a one litre solution.
    Like if this helps.

  • @shriyabhattacharya1889
    @shriyabhattacharya1889 Год назад

    Molar mass should be the mass of 1 mole of h2so4 and that's why it is in g otherwise it would be 98 amu(atomic mass unit) if it is taken as molecule.
