- Henrik Larsson scored 242 goals in 315 appearances for Celtic over a seven-year period at the club.
There were many great goals and significant strikes within that impressive tally which makes him the third top goalscorer in Celtic's history.
And one of the most important came 20 years ago, on April 24, 2003, in the Estádio do Bessa XXI, home of Portuguese side, Boavista.
It was the second leg of the UEFA Cup semi-final, with the tie finely balanced after a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Celtic Park.

@Moky I would say that team was second only to the Lisbon Lions. This team has the potential but only time will tell if they can get up to them levels.

Can you imagine if we had a decent keeper in goals. Even David Marshall would have saved at least 1 of Portos poor goals..So near but yet so far.

@@dougmasters4579 Agreed, sent off in final but when i look at Portos goals im like Fuck me, Boruc or any decent keeper would have got a hand to those goals. still a bit gutted is fair to say lol.
@@hendriekevin4171 yeah MON's blind spot was keeper. I think MON said if Lubo was a few years younger we'd have beaten Porto. But also if Boruc was a few years older (and we signed him instead of Hedman) then we'd have won, too. But balde's sending off and also his handball in Lyon was really bad.

you need to be able to defend to do well in Europe. Ange and Rodgers teams can't defend at a higher level. Play the same way against Real Madrid as we do against Ross County. It doesn't work.

@@dougmasters4579 worked for an hour against Madrid at parked we shoulda been a couple goals up. Getting players who can’t keep the energy and concentration for 90mins is the key.
