Hey! I see your comments about hobbies and the soft lighting in your apartment and it makes me wonder if you're neurodivergent like those of us with ADHD or autism. I'm struggling to get through the initial decluttering of our house, but listening to your meditations on purchasing new items versus appreciating what we have is very helpful at calming the desire for a short-term dopamine burst from impulse purchases. I also appreciate the way we get to see your chores-- a refreshing breath of fresh air from the "Clean and Restock my Fridge!" videos that just want to sell you more bins, drink, etc. Watching you manage your things helps grant me the 'activation energy' necessary to overcome executive dysfunction and actually get to the chores that need to be done. Keep up the great videos!
Hi Lyndsay :) Thank You for ANOTHER fantastic video xxx People around me think I'm crazy - ok maybe I am - BUT I LOVE animals more than anything. I share my tiny little cottage (in the back of my parents garden) with 23 cats, a very spoiled little chihuahua, a crazy parrot and a very special chicken - they are all rescued. And even with my menagerie my little home is always clean and tidy otherwise things just goes very wrong. I get up very early every morning and to the morning run so when I leave for work the place is spotless and neat and then when I get home at night it's the dinner time run and before I go to bed it's another all round clean up. The nightly round is so vital - I just cannot face starting a day in a messy environment. Wishing you a wonderful day and week :)
Pauli that’s sounds like a wonderful group of beings to share your life with. And it sounds like you have it figured out. It’s all about the maintaining isn’t it? It makes everything so much more enjoyable. Thank you so much for your support 🙂
Really appreciate when a video like yours shows up in my YT feed! Enjoyed this video so much and found your observations echo my own experience. Your space is a cozy sanctuary. Thank you for sharing effective and applicable ideas that can yield beneficial results. Having calm and order surround us is a wonderful way to honor how we choose to live, a clear expression of gratitude for what is.
Loved this video, Lyndsay. I wish I could share with everyone some great tips on staying de-cluttered and organized, but I'm not there yet, lol. Your videos are helping me so much and like everyone else, I find them so calming and beautiful. Keep up the great work! ❤
The smallest detail appealed. How you stuck your glasses on the arm of the couch! But my glasses are pretty flimsy, and my cat is so muscular! Ah well, any excuse to watch again!

Great video! Gave me some motivation to do some much needed 20 minute tasks this weekend, as well as to enjoy a book with a cup of tea.
Cleaning and decluttering can help you live longer❤️❤️❤️❤️
I totally believe that Kathy!

@@lyndsayallison2325 Thank you for your encouragement! By the way, I have fallen in love with your teapot set, where did you get it?
I got it from a beautiful potter I found on Etsy. www.etsy.com/ca/shop/BirdmansHome I got my dishes from her too. Absolutely amazing 🙂
@@lyndsayallison2325 Thanks, Lyndsay!
