He lost me when he said we have to stop "climate change"

Nuclear power stations where the coal is now. Emissions down, costs down. Solar and wind can bolt on where practical to do so

You NEED CO2 TO GROW TREE THEN TREE TURN TO O SO WE CAN BREATH

Nature does this automatically. Human activity affects natural ability to remain stable.

This guy spewed more BS than Bowen.
His unfactual statement that we've seen worse and more unpredictable weather was a starting point.
    The rest was pure dribble.

Sun and wind energy are free energy sources. They should be free for all. Paying high prices for energy is because of privatisation of energy supplies.

Such a fallacy. They are not free because they don't just walk over to you power meter and feed themselves in. Such great expense is needed for that.

Then the TREE TRUN TO PETRAPHIDED WOOD THEN COAL THEN AFTER IN THE GROUND WITH REALLY BIG PRESSURE AND EXTREMES OF HEAT UNDER GROUND WILL TURN COAL TO DIAMONDS

Quantum physics mechanics hopefully in the future will crack the energy bubble and supply unlimited amounts of energy basically for minimal costs so to drive innovation and technology is very important that the government should encourage and take advantage of in a good way 👍🤠🇦🇺 a competition with huge amounts of prize money 🙏👍

Well if we didn't give away $150B of LNG per year for free, this could all be easily paid for.

The boomer thinks Australia can solve climate change all by itself even though we only produce less than 1% of global emissions what a complete idiot.

Wow , this guy is telling us what the average person knew long ago. Build the nuclear where the coal is now and get on with life. We get the emissions reduction and the cost reduction .

They are the cheapest form of energy. Funny how that's a problem.

Except they're not. Not remotely. In fact, if you take account of the CO2 emissions solar and wind create from the first hole being dug to extract the raw materials to the last hole being dug to put them into landfill, (20 years - at best), neither will recover their own CO2 emissions. Then there is the amount of materials used. Just one wind turbine requires 1500 tons of concrete, 900 tons of steel, tons of carbon fibre blades, (which have to be replaced at least 3 times) and the gallons of fossil fuel, (which turbines cannot operate without). To produce 40% (maximum efficiency scientifically possible) of 40MW. When the wind blows - at certain speeds! Because, if the wind blows to strong, they have to turn the turbines off. Lest they get torn apart by that wind!
Add to that the truth Labor are building these eye waveringly expensive eyesores in prime farm land. Or world heritage listed rainforests.
And you're trying to tell us this is BETTER for the environment?
Spare us! It is nothing more than political warfare on ordinary people.

A battery that costs 100 million dollars and Only lasts for an hour of back up. They want 30 batteries at a cost of 3 Billion dollars. What if the power is out from days as can be the case. Batteries won’t cope. Then batteries need replacing every 10 years so 9 billion over 30 yrs.

I strongly contest the host's claim that Chris Bowen is a 'very good politician!' He is nothing of the kind.
Bowen has been an unmitigated disaster in every cabinet position he has held. He is now exceeding projections of the damage he is capable of causing!
