5:40 Her revelation here is so deep. It's shocking to me that she has to deal with racism even on a platform like this. How could anyone degrade another person like that, on a first meeting?! Anyway, you're doing great work, commendations all around.
Hey bro, it would be awesome if you could make a video of you going either to a chinese restaurant or grocery store (there is one directly next to the main train station in tampere called golden crop, im pretty sure all the staff there are chinese speakers) so you would go there and start the copmmunication in fin/eng and then suddenly switch to chinese lol, kinda what u do here in omegle!! Im sure it would be a very popular video too!! :DDD
@partizanSquad No, it was their heroic fight and victory, because they managed to stay free and sovereign (although they've lost of course about 10% of their territories, including parts of Karelia) - especially taking into account that they were fighting with uncomparably bigger country, with uncomparably bigger population (I've read in Internet that in 1939 the population of Finns was about 3,6 mln), with much bigger forces, practically alone (but at least they were not attacked by Hitler, like for instance Poland was in that time from both sides, only by the USSR). Stalin thought he will conquer the whole country very quickly, but he didn't manage. They protected their sovereignty and never became part of the USSR or under regime installed by Soviets. And this war showed also all the weaknesses in the Soviet army and its command, because Soviets suffered in this war significant losses, although fighting with much smaller country. That's what I've read about it.
@@MayaTheDecemberGirl No they lost the war and the Soviet Union got what they wanted. The goal of the soviet union wasn't to conquer or annex finland. USSR''s objective was to secure Leningrad's flank from a possible German invasion through Finland. And they got what they wanted in the end. Btw, on this matter, Finish president Urho Kekkonen declared in September 1963: "Now, more than 20 years later, if we put ourselves in the position of the Soviet Union, then considering the German attack in 1941, then the considerations that the Soviets had, and must have had regarding their security at the end of the 1930s, become understandable
@@MayaTheDecemberGirlyou contradict yourself. It was a Pyrric victory for the Soviets. They underastimated Finland, but still won. Also it was part of the reason as to why Finland allied with nazis to regain lost territory, but they switched once they realised they could not acheive it.
@dadandadandan The Soviets didn't won. Because their intention was to conquer and completely control whole Finland, being so incomparably smaller and especially so less populated country. It was all planned earlier by Soviets, according also to the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact about division of Europe between both totalitarian regimes, so German and Soviet, communist one. And Soviets thought they would manage to do it very quickly. But they didn't manage, despite having so much bigger forces. And I've read that during this so-called Winter War, they were fighting alone (definitely in that time not with the support of Germans, because they signed earlier the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact with Soviets). we all know how much important it was - because thanks to that Finland as a state didn't have to be under the communist regime installed by Soviets after the war (and we all know, in half of Europe, have much horrible it was, for 50 years, till the fall of communism in Europe).
