    This is the true Key to a straight arm straddle planche, it makes sense, and I personally feel this should be what anyone striving for the straddle planche needs to learn first as it'll be more easier, and work your way up

    Great vid! I'm using this skill as part of my full planche training. I think it translates over well (even though some people say it doesn't) because you're still placing your body under the same amount of stress save for a less amount on the arms and shoulders.

    • @AshtonFitness
      @AshtonFitness  4 года назад +1

      I think there are some aspects of it that do translate over very well. Osvaldo Lugones includes it in his "how to planche" videos (and he has one of the best planches out there) so it must be pretty good if he includes it :D I'm still yet to learn my planche though

    Isn't this 90 degree hold? Straddle I mean. Is this an advanced move? Basically elbow lever without arm support.

    • @AshtonFitness
      @AshtonFitness  4 года назад

      Yes, this is an advanced skill. It's the bent arm straddle planche. It's much harder than the elbow lever and requires much more chest, shoulder, and core strength.

    La plancha no está bien ejecutada, ya que sus codos triceps están pegados a sus dorsales y esto sería una forma "falsa" de hacerlo. Para la correcta ejecución, sus brazos deberian estár estirados por completo. A juzgar una plancha esto no es lo que un gimnasta ejecuta.
