Love the roosters! I always grab them from the thrift when I see roosters, no matter the color (theyre usually not cute colors, lol!) and I throw a coat of paint, usually gray with the white like you did, but I tried a pretty green last time with a light white & white wax, we'll see how they do in my booth...but usually they sell well!
Love that you add how much you paid and what it sold for, my BIGGEST struggle is how much to price things at! Esp where everything I make is upcycled thrift stuff, I also have volunteered at my local Council on Aging thrift shop every week and get a 50% discount so I get things a LOT cheaper than most and I struggle with pricing....and when to pull something out of my booth if it doesnt sell after marking it down a few times & either repaint it, donate it or take it apart and do something else w it. All I think is ughh all that wasted time and supplies, lol!
