60 minutes has some good documentaries but anything related to politics is always one sided with them.
Texas is well within its rights to defend itself from all threats, foreign and domestic.
Try looking at the actual laws. This is federal not states. They have violated the Supreme Court ruling.

The interviewer seems to be upset when asking questions, they should be unbiased for a smooth and well conducted interview. Perhaps if they have reasons to be biased they shouldn’t be doing this kind of work.

As a legal immigrant and naturalized US citizen- I stand with Texas. I had to wait almost 10 years to reunite with my family, it costed thousands of dollars, us immigration dug through my whole life and I had to have a spotless criminal history from my home country. This free for all is insane.

Combined, violations of 8 U.S.C. §§ 1325 and 1326 became the most prosecuted federal offenses in recent years. Indeed, as of December 2018, they constituted 65 percent of all criminal prosecutions in federal court. Prosecutions for entry-related offenses subsequently declined when the government began expelling migrants back into Mexico rather than prosecuting them

The truth is the country is going to start losing population without immigration to offset falling birth rates. We might not like it but the country is going to get more diverse. It will and must unless people start having more kids.
