Very helpful. I so agree. I got TGTB for my son, but we are going back to handwriting without tears next year. He still does a lot of reversals too, so hoping that switch helps. TGTB is nice, but we need more technical.
I literally was having handwriting questions, this video came just in time lol. I have hwwt and i really like it. Its straight to the point. some others can be confusing. Many people speak very highly of hwwt handwriting as well. ty!!
I totally agree with what you have also determined. HWWOT is more technical and a better starting point while TGATB is more fun and varied. Nothing wrong with using both! This is helpful to me because I've got a daughter going into 3rd grade whose handwriting is not where I'd like it to be having done TGATB for 2 years. I'm going to get HWWOT before we move into cursive.
Thank you for this review! I will have to purchase both. TGTB will keep my daughter engaged but my son sees letter like pictures so he doesn’t form letters in the same way each time and handwriting is painful. The prompts in HWT is what he needs!

I found this very interesting. I havent used either one of these writing curriculums. Thanks for a great comparison. God bless ❤
you're so welcome!

I’m glad I could read your mind and make this video 😉

so helpful, thank you!
You’re welcome!
My soon to be 9 y.o is doing HWWT for print & TGTB for cursive. She really enjoys HWWT, but sadly they don’t have too many options for older ages.
they do have cursive for hwot have you seen it?
@@MrsMomsHomeschool I did, but she wants to continue cursive with TGTB and print with HWT. 🤷🏻♀️
Handwriting needs to be taught one on one that’s for sure
