All of these people said the music was too loud to hear. The music was definitely loud but I could hear you guys just fine with it so don't worry :) Awesome video btw, I love seeing everyone happy with there food. Only videos I enjoy where people explain the way their desserts taste lmao
I love their reviews but I have trouble hearing and it was pretty hard to hear what they where saying. People aren't trying to be rude pointing it out, just letting them know so they can fix it in the future.
Charles hates sweets and desserts. Well, isn’t he just a wonderful choice for a dessert restaurant.

Great review! Also sad and a bit scary that I have not heard any rave reviews about this place considering the thought and creativity that went into the building. But maybe maybe all those delays is a heads up that there is trouble behind the curtain.
Word on the street seems to be that the menu needs help and the prices are outrageous. Not good. If I want Morimoto ribs guess what, I will walk to Morimotos - are they kidding? And I am not interested in a $20 burger. I think creative tapas are a great idea if the prices are in check. I don't see how it drinks and desert will pay the bills and keep the lights on...lol

That music is completely annoying. Cancelling an upcoming reservation because I don't want to be in that atmosphere. Thanks for doing this video. It helps so much when weighing dining options.
Wow that music in the restaurant is so loud. Total turnoff for me. The food looks ok - but really hard to hear what they ordered.
A Cuban sandwich has swiss on it. Choose a different sandwich.
Guys, I loooooooooveeee your videos. But I can't stand the audio while you are at the restaurant. Please, invest in some microphones or change the camera. It is like the third video that many people complain about the audio. Don't get me wrong, again, I love your videos.

We like and appreciate your reviews. But we have to say that this is the least helpful out of all of the ones you have done recently. Out of the four entrees, two were a cheeseburger and a grilled cheese. If I didn't l look at the menu, I would have thought this was a burger joint; it isn't. I'm the future, could Craig and Steve please expand their palates so that we can get a better idea of the quality and quantity of what these restaurants have.

Ooh! The look of this restaurant is totally my style. How charming! I’m loving the music, the cocktails, the rustic/industrial furnishings, that milkshake! That bacon 🥓 appetizer with the clothespins. I love that it’s not jam packed. I have got to give this a try!

I wonder if the music was really that loud, it was annoying.
Ryno going, “Lard?!” Made me pause the video because I was DYING laughing! Not even half way through the video and I’m already crying laughing 😂
:( Sadly, this place appears to have fallen to the current trend of being too loud. Considering just how empty it looked in this video, there's no excuse for it being so loud that you STILL can't hear your table companions. I was so looking forward to trying this place out on my next trip, but I'm having second thoughts now.
When you guys go into an establishment, do you guys kind of "introduce yourselves" as vloggers? Or do you just show up, without cameras out, order and then let the fun begin? I guess what I am asking is, would Everyone expect to get the same good, or bad, service/food as you all, or do they try and do their BEST for you all? Just asking from a planning view.

Why is it that in the parks the music is barely noticeable but in the restaurants it’s so loud you can hardly talk to each other?
Probably less noticeable in real life. They’ve got their mics HOT to pick up their dialogue.
It's a current trend everywhere with "hip" restaurants, not just at Disney. Some review sites are starting to include decibel level reports because it can actually damage hearing. It's insane and offputting, but at least right now, it's not going away.
I would avoid this place based on the music alone!

Guys....first, you need to get a better or more directional microphone. SO many of these remote shoots are so noisy that it makes your commentary difficult to hear clearly. Secondly, may I make what I hope will be a very valuable suggestion? Surely, just as here in California, there is a "Florida Restaurant Association" with an annual convention somewhere. You need to get press credentials and go and then you will understand how the "backstage" world of restaurants REALLY works--why I mention this is your amazement at the "bubblegum" flavoring of that creamy stuff--it comes from a bottle, along with literally HUNDREDS of flavorings out there that restaurateurs have access too and can only CLAIM is their "secret recipe." This is true for so many things--I remember, back when I was a food/wine/travel/hospitality author and editor and columnist here going to one of those shows and having a guy show me "Mix this with mayo, it is green goddess dressing. Add these two and it is chipoltle sauce for a taco. This one over here is turkey gravy, but add this one and it is spicy poultry remoulade. Make 'em hot, one thing. Make 'em cold, another." All pointing to jars full of powder or liquid. That's how it works. GO look! Thanks!

Yep. They literally sell these things as SETS complete with a wall shelf to hold them, along with a recipe book on how to mix and match them--it is the modern food industry's version of my generation's kid's chemistry set. BTW...the flavors in those desserts are also sometimes/often these things---that doesn't of course take away from the creativity of the presentation nor, for one example, the skill in making that key lime thing work (btw, that low shallow "skillet" serves two production purposes--the crust can be baked in it, then, being thin, it cools quickly and then the key lime filling can be poured in from a bigger batch and the thinness helps them set up faster for large volume service.)

I agree that maybe the crew could become more well-versed in these types of things, but we're all not food critiquers....Your comment is making this sound a little more serious than it is. They're just average people trying food, much like the rest of the people that visit Disney. They're just providing a general narrative as to whether or not the food was good, don't over complicate it. Maybe you can start your own channel on reviewing food with your knowledge.

The moment you walked in, I thought it looked a lot like Toothsome's over at City Walk (albeit without the entry way full of chocolate). The same very steampunk feel, even the ground/mezanine floor.
The longer the video went on, the more I found myself comparing the two, and not favourably for The Edison. The menus sounded similar (although again without the massive sweet range offered on CityWalk), the ambiences seemed similar (right down to the characters heading to the table to help with the immersion in the theme.)
Your not all that favourable reviews of the food mean that when I'm next in Orlando I'll continue heading to Toothsome's which was by some margin the best restaurant we ate at during our last stay.

At first glance this place looks like a Toothsome rip off. Ryno and Kylie made this place look like a lot of fun but they just had apps and drinks I believe. I'm interested in seeing Maria and Enzo's. Is it open yet?

Um. I live in FL and love key lime pie but I don't try it that often. But tip you want the lime to essentially punch you in the face

I went on a Friday night and it was empty as well. We also received bad service. We sat at a table and we knew they had stopped serving food.... but we were going to order drinks. We sat down and waiter came to our table to give us a menu... walked away... and we never saw him again. I then spotted him hanging over the railing talking to a friend maybe. so we moved to the bar and got excellent service there.
Charles...."thats not a thing I want involved with any of my other things".....(referring to the bubblegum whipped cream).......LOL!!!
I really think they're Judy trim b to replicate the success of Toothsome Chocolate Emporium at Universal. ... And it doesn't sound like it comes off as well
The original Edison in CA opened waaaaay before Toothsome though. I'm not sure how the experience compares but thought it was worth mentioning
Good point Marcus. I just think it's a bit strange that Disney would open such a similar restaurant so soon after Universal opened their steampunk restaurant only about a year ago.
Yeah, totally agree with that, I'm surprised they didn't go in a different direction with this Edison even if the original is the same kind of theme as you're definitely not the first to make the comparison and I doubt you'll be the last either

Looks like an amazing restaurant. I was supposed to go a couple of weeks ago, but missed it when my flight was canceled. That sucked. Love the review guys! I really enjoy your dining episodes.

Key lime pie seems to be to Floridians what Boston cream pie is to New Englanders. If you go to the right place, it's so damn good. If you go out of the area, nobody knows how to make it right.
Those desserts sounds Amazing, Pete’s expressions were so much fun over that bubblegum whip cream . Sounds like it should be called Willy Wonka menu
This was a terrific review. Came away with a few things........Who doesn't read the menu before they order, lol? That food is way too expensive to accidentally be ordering stuff you don't like........There are round breads/buns that would be way more appropriate for those burgers. Don't skimp in the juiciness or toppings, just get the right kind of bread........The music was way too loud. Should be in the background, not overwhelming, making it hard to have conversations........I look forward to going there at some point. I just want to wait until the bugs get worked out. If I'm going to pay that much money, the appetizers, main dish, desserts, service, and atmosphere have to ALL be top-notched (and at the same time). But they do have great potential for sure. Again, great review. I really like Charles' take on things. He's a great addition.
Was not liud when I went 2 days ago. Bacon was awesone but restaraunt is expensive. The vegetarian burger taste and looked like beef. Im not even vegatarian. If I didnt know better would have thought it was cow. That shake was $16.
This restaurant looks like an exact replica of the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium restaurant at Universal. Disney totally ripped that idea from them. Toothsome must be doing extremely well if Disney saw the need to create an exact replica of it on their property.
Kind of puzzled by Pete’s order of grilled cheese and tomato soup. I just think it’s kind of weird to order something that’s so easy to make at home within 10 minutes and then pay $10+ for it in a restaurant.
Hey! Can someone please tell me how much the Minnie vans cost?? And where and how do I get the use of one? The quickest way to get to magic kingdom and the rest from animal kingdom lodge. Like take the bus to another hotel and get the monorail maybe? Any parking hacks? just any and all info you have on quickest and cheapest ways of getting to and from parks to animal kingdom lodge...
A question guys--the desserts and shakes and the steampunk thing has a feel to it like that chocolate place that opened at Universal Citywalk. Could you compare the two? Second--isn't the normal pattern supposed to be (a) conception and menu planning and testing, (b) hiring and training staff, (c) soft opening to iron OUT the flaws and then (d) open as the best you can manage to be. So haven't the Edison people kind of mistaken things, and aren't customers now paying the price to be their guinea pigs while they get their act together? Further, can the same management that screwed all that up actually fix it? Time will tell, but personally I'd avoid it for 6 months minimum--even if the desserts are divine.
Background music is way too loud and the prices seem very steep even for Disney Springs.

$12 for 2 eggs. God Disney turn the music down to 11. The outside didn't look inviting to us on our trip. My wife kind of walked up feeling like we were not supposed to be there. Just my thought of why (along with others that we have talked to) it may not be getting customers. plus the videos out with the dancers. I had people tell me that they wouldn't take their children to a place like that. but I think that is only after 10 right?
This place looks underwhelming and overpriced to me.
It certainly is loud in there. Were you able to have a conversation and hear each other? Unless it is a microphone issue, it seems like it's not a good place to go if you want to talk to your guests.
Love you guys. Ryno, you are great and we love you but...you must read the menu to order. I am not a huge fan of cotton candy but Pete makes me want to get the pop tree to try this alone. Although, it does not take extra encouragement regardless. BACON. Really too bad about the buns. I am looking forward to a visit here next spring on my next WDW trip. I can enjoy a meal of appetizers alone so crappy entrees are not a problem.
The music at the restaurant was so overpowering that I had to turn the sound off. Then my closed caption wouldn't work, I had to skip to the end. How did you endure that?
Does Pete normally eat grilled cheese and then start "rolling around" because that would make for a good video.

Fantastic review. We have reservations for Sat night and are now rethinking our choice. May just go there for dessert after eating somewhere else like Tutu Tango.

Potential and theming will get them over the top. Getting a well crafted bun will help immensely. Great review, please go back for night show and a walk around.
Could it be empty because it is not on the dining plan? I know we are planning our next trip and when I saw it wasn't on the DDP, it was bypassed.
We wanted/want to eat at this place for either lunch or dinner and couldn't get reservations for our trip in June. I found it very interesting that there were no reservations available for any time (we searched everything) and yet the place looked dead!
I just looked and you can book a reservation on Open Table.
