I agree with nearly everything Aldo says in this video. My Sudden Valley advice is to try to get a home on a flat lot, get a generator and a VERY capable AWD vehicle(w/ a set of real snow tires in winter). Love Aldo's transparency. On safety, yes, no sidewalks, but also, no(or less) random crackheads like Bellingham. It's definitely the quietest place we've ever lived, also, the pool is great for kids.

Definitely alot less noise and safer than other areas in Bellingham, and yes, no crack heads LOL. Thank you for your comment! Any other content you would like to see?

There's way too much money in Western Washington if you think that $650,000.00 is affordable. You KNOW the local wages can't keep up with these prices. My heart still breaks when thinking about the day the tech companies decided Western Washington was going to be their home. It changed everything about this part of the state, and no...not for the better. I'm all for growth and prosperity, but this? This is like the whole I5 corridor overdosing on steroids.

There is quite a bit of money in Whatcom County for sure. Its still astonishing that the average house was around $350k when i first began in real estate 8 years ago. Bellingham has grown quite a bit and im excited to see what else will make this city great!

It's affordable because it sucks. The steep unkempt roads suck, the mold and mildew suck, the HOA sucks, and no one wants to deliver to sudden valley, which sucks. Good luck when the wind storms roll in and trees/branches start landing on your roof.
