My refer has stopped twice in the last few days. All components at the back of the refer test good. Tapping the panel that the defrost timer and cold control thermostat are mounted on fixes it until it sticks again. Which component, defrost timer or cold control thermostat, is the most common one to have bad contacts?

mine sometime the timer not working properly it stayed in-off mode and I have to turn it on manually by flat screw driver, Stuff in side almost get rotten. Any Idea? this the new timer i replace

The current broken defrost timer is 8hrs7min
I only found 6hrs25min in the market

The defrost cycle on residential refrigerators are time initiated temperature terminated. so with that being said, the time duration of the defrost clock is not that important
Mine seems to be running slow and only defrosting about every 20 hours. Have you ever seen one fail this way?
