Are you sure the Defrost Control is a separate switch in series with the Cold Control? Fridge thermostats are usually SPDT, so I don't get why your diagram has seemingly complicated the matter. Not to mention the shorting of L & N (your vertical wire mid screen) !!
Thanks for watching. Most top freezer refrigerators that use a cold control thermostat will have a defrost timer, however some will have a defrost control board. The cold control thermostats in these models have 2 terminals and is a SPST which you can see here: www.amresupply.com/part/VB7-FROST-FREE-BEV-CONT The model we filmed this video with has a 2 terminal cold control thermostat and a defrost timer wired in the same way that it is in the video. In this model the compressor & fans could be turned on and off by manually advancing the defrost timer screw. Defrost timers have 4 terminals, and what is not shown in this simplified circuit diagram is the motor & resistor on the defrost timer. I can see why you'd think it would be shorted without an additional symbol to denote the motor. This is explained more in the defrost timer video: ruclips.net/video/rsv0ary__p4/видео.htmlsi=5IX68xC3YwbiFXhb&t=342 More in-depth troubleshooting for the defrost circuit can be found here: ruclips.net/video/r2YUNLPs4kM/видео.html
Thank you Sir,Helpfully content ,thank you so much for the knowledge .

Muito boa explicação Carlos Brasil
Mucho grasias! Thank you very much!
Nice
Thanks for watching!
Also take care to not melt the plastic around the condenser if you are using a heat gun.
Yes exactly, that's why we recommend using a low heat setting. It will take longer but it will prevent the plastic from melting.

Do you ship to the US or have a US depot?
Thanks for watching. We are based in Canada but we do ship to the US!
