I loved this song it really shows Tiana's determination and strength, she kina reminds me of Mulan in some ways. I was also glad at how Tiana's dad said that wishing upon a star is only the first step, the rest is all you!
Is it me or is the Southern girl the only Disney princess that actually works hard and deserves to be a princess?
it's Princess Tiana, and yes she does actually work hard, but she's not the only one. Mulan deserves to be a Disney princess too.
That's why I love this movie. Tiana has priorities, responsibility, and goals for her life. She's not afraid to work hard and fulfill her dreams.
Maddie Manskee Mulan and Tiana are my favorites princess.
I'd say Merida deserves to be on there too. Sure, she acts like a brat in the movie, but it's also clear that she learns from her experiences, and reaches a common ground with her mother. She learns, in essence, which is something a lot of the other princesses are missing.
Azeran Warrens Brave was a Pixar film, and even though Disney bought Pixar I'm not sure if she counts as a Disney Princess?

Almost back to what it used to be! I grew up with the OLD disney movies (the cartoons) and I was so excited to take my little brother to this, and show him what a real Disney movie is!
Best heroine ever: Strong, self-sufficient, doesn't think of love first, but is accepting of it at the end. Modest dream, happy outcome, and talking animals. Doesn't get better than this. Classic Disney.
just saw the movie today taking care of an infant child at my side but it sure inspired me with my trials and tribulations myself so amen! sister;)

at first I thought Disney just hired impressive songwriters fro this movie, until I found out Randy wrote them, which makes the songs twice as awesome.

I dunno about ever, but yeah, awsomeness, especially the scene where the villain gets defeated, it's spooky, scary, and a hint of irony.
I love this song.....Wonderful and inspiring movie for little girls and the little girl in all of us. Great job Anika and Disney for sharing this timeless movie.

I love 2-d and 3-d animated films; they're just different mediums. The most important part is the story. If you have a good story, you'll have a killer movie.

@MegaSlattery Cars is good. Even though it may not be as good as Up or Ratatouille (in my opinion), it still has that heartwarming Disney element. But your right, Hannah Montana is just bummed.

@marbo93 Well, even in the animated film department, Disney had been in kind of a slump after 'Tarzan,' as the animated films for a long time after that ranged from good- yet- forgettable (i.e. 'Emperor's new Groove') to simply forgettable ('Home on the Range,' 'Chicken Little'). 'Enchanted' helped restore a bit of its old glory by channeling the spirit of those wonderful older films, and now "PATF" shows that they are definitely capable of making the sorts of classics they once did!
Im on the junior high dance team and the high school dance team does prop and its disney princesses and villains and they use this song for Tiana

Coming back? When did Disney ever even leave? Disney channel and Disney studios are two VERY separate things....personally I'm a Classical Disney fanatic...as for Hannah and the Joe Bros, I have nothing against them, but how could anyone even COMPARE them to Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast or any classic for that matter....YOU CANT! so please let us fans enjoy a GREAT Disney film like Princess and the Frog without being disturbed by Hannah or Joe remarks
