The French archives institute reports over 700 Palestinian deaths, and 100 Lebanese. In 2 days. Ariel Sharon was directly involved as the Israeli army stood by and supported the far right Christians conducting these atrocities, and most likely participated. Palestinian people have gone through so much and never get any justice. However they resist they are called terrorists, people continue deny their very existence, their agency. I'm not sure I'd be capable of such patience. As Mandela explained in his biography, at some point in the movement it felt like they had no choice but to resort to violence.
