This song (and movie) had such an impact on me during 2020 that it became my first tattoo! I have the "snowflake" logo and "Into the unknown" written underneath it. I left the company I had worked at for 14 1/2 years to join a start-up consulting firm that year, and I've never faced an "unknown" situation bigger than that!
I love the way the songwriters use the music to conceptualize the theme of the song. The first time Elsa sings "Into the Un-known," it's an octave leap (the edge of the known), the second time it's a ninth (taking a step beyond what's known), and the third a really wild jump-- an eleventh (leaving the known far behind). It's really clever, and only works because they know they can rely on Menzel to actually pull off those leaps.
Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Musical geniuses. Being a music person you may like the documentary about making Frozen 2 on Disney+. So much of the behind the scenes of the music writing and getting it right from a character and storytelling perspective.
Into the unknown was awesome whether by Panic at the disco or by the talented young ladies of this movie. Lost in the woods is nostalgic for a reason, does anybody remember Wheezer?
I know that Show Yourself is supposed to be the Let it go of Frozen II,and many fans even prefer it to Let it go,but THIS ONE is my favorite of the movie,it's just so good,it's superb, and the melody is great! And GGs on both your reaction and analysis bro, some other singers I watched reacting to Frozen and other songs I love went too much on the technical, you don't,you keep it easy and simple for everybody to understand, because I know nothing on music and I never liked to practice it,I just love the shit out of listening to it
Everything you're picking up from the song is totally correct. (The song happens very early on in the movie so, there's not too much context that you're missing). Love this song and this movie! ❤
Hi brad. You seem to sometimes enjoy dipping into Broadway or Disney music, so I'd like to recommend a couple of things that are lesser known at this time. There is a song called he's so different, which is from an as yet unreleased musical I believe. But a music video was produced during the time of covid and can be found on youtube. Also, there is an older 1990s independent family film musical called rigoletto, and the song I want to recommend is called the curse. You'll have to look up the two terms together to find it. But I would very much recommend it. I'd recommend both of them obviously.
My favourite version is that by Without Music ruclips.net/video/bb3x76CZrj8/видео.html Although you can't hear as much of Eline Vera's singing as e.g. in Show Yourself, it's definitely a lot of fun.

The beginning is just like "do you want to build a snowman" almost the same notes
You seems the only one that notice it
I only realized this kind of recently, but the pattern that the Voice sings is the first 4 notes of the Dies Ire :) Just a little interesting thing :)

I think you'd really enjoy the songs from SIX The Musical
you're going to want to check out Acapop Kids! cover of this song.
Show yourself and Into the unknown in other languages like Danish would be fun too.
I recommend you react into the unknown in Latin Spanish (Mucho más allá)
♥

Check Elaine Duran cover with a twist of into the unknown 🙏
Please React Disney music version in spanish!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 It’s sooo good!
You should listen to the panic at the disco version!!
react AURORA Into The Unknown version
I would recommend the Norwegian version. It`s amazing! In my opinion better than Idina Menzel...
Why not react to Aurora's own version(cover) of this song. Much better in my opinion
Aurora’s solo version is way better! React 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The lyrics are soooo beautiful but tbh I don't like this version (or just the voice).
You NEED to see the Oscars performance
