I also love how Warren chased after Ted again from 1:35-1:38 since Ted went near his ears where I guess Warren still didn't trust Ted but at the end he trusted Ted because at the end of the movie Warren was wearing earphones over his ears and Ted pulled off one earphone but Warren didn't try to beat him up where I guess he all of a sudden trusted Ted.

Otherwise maybe Warren told Ted that he is the only person who can touch and/or go near his ears especially it was mentioned by Mary that Warren never remembers anyone from High School but remembers Ted which probably was because, he (Warren) couldn't forget that funny incident of Ted where Mary's mom thought Ted was masturbating which made Warren giggle and when Ted was being taken to the hospital, Warren loudly announced to the neighborhood, "he was masturbating."

Thankfully, it didn't get in deep enough to get past a barb. He was calm enough to remove it on his own and continue with the fishing adventure. Poor dude, had a camper and a boat. But, two daughters who had no interest in outdoor adventure. Zero sons.
The odds though are like getting struck by lightning. Just think about if you were trying to do that on purpose, you'd be trying all day, it'd be almost impossible.

I remember seeing this movie at the theatre. This scene made me believe that going on a date, as Ben Stiller does, doing all these cool things was the way to go. Watching this now, it makes me sad. The government and business tycoons have made life so expensive, going on a date like this is a fantasy and something of the past.

Yep. It took him awhile but Warren finally warmed to Ted at the end.
