- Prince Harry has received a standing ovation at the opening ceremony of his passion project the Invictus Games. But while Harry made reference to Meghan's competitive spirit the Duchess may not appear at the Games at all. Her name was mysteriously removed from the official program at the last minute.

Sorry, but Russell needs to “read the room”. MM has nothing to do with the veterans, and everything is all about her and the PR she could get about being there. So many people have complained about her presenting a speech, and the speech she was suppose to give is about “courage and resilience”, which she does not exemplify one bit. Russell needs to talk to talk to Angela Levin or Nana Akua. They can set Russell straight about MM.

Exactly Elaine. As I said in my initial comments, these morning shows are 'entertainment' type shows, not 'informative news' type shows, although they may occasionally go with breaking news stories.
You are 100% correct. Veterans had formally stated that they would not take part if she went anywhere near Invictus. She had to make sure Harry got a plug in about Nigeria 🇳🇬. The response.....crickets. This is a woman who would turn up to an opening of an envelope if she thought the limelight would be on her. The woman literally buys her own awards. Her presence at Invictus has been made known by the Veterans who the games are in honour of. I believe that if she did turn up at the end, Harry will lose what little respect he has left with people. The veterans will not trust him a second time if she shows her face at the end, because they've made it very clear they don't want her there.
It's great to see others who actually keep up with the relevant information, even though some may view authenticity in reporting with running conspiracy theories.

In the city close to my home we have a huge problem with homelessness and drug addiction. The Invictus shows the success of people overcoming great adversity. I just wish you could market that success to the homeless vets on the streets close to my home. How do we help them?
