Sorry, Lawrence - I thought my reply posted but I'm not seeing that it did! It can be risky to jump in when a project is already in progress. The budget that was outlined originally may change dramatically depending on your specific set of needs and it's generally best if you're present when the foundation and framing are taking place. If you decide to move forward, it will be essential that you and the builder come up with an updated, agreed-upon plan, timeline, and budget that work for both parties. Hope this helps!
