I used a builder suggest by my architect. They were the most corrupt horrible two-faced builder ever and were in cahoots with the trades getting kickbacks. Hardly ever showed up but always wanted money. I weas the one who ended up doing the3 builder's job so I ended up firing the builder and managed the project myself. Now I am building another home. My architect told me the majority of builders are 'terrible'. Great industry!

What if the builder has an architect they work with and their price is included in the build price? If the builder does not have a design team how do you go about finding one? I'm moving to a new town where I don't know anyone. I have a report with the realtor who sold me the land I bought but no one else.
