I seen on another video, that if you cut the middle part off first before the satin stitch it comes out perfect. Then you will have a finish look. But I love that color, its beautiful.
Great tutorial! Agree about matching the fabric/thread colors, markers are undependable on frequently washed clothing. (Maybe heatset would help). Love this look, thank you for great instructions.
Thank you so much! Yes I definitely wouldn’t do this for a customer (I know I would be mad I paid all this money for something and they colored it lol) but I’m going to try the matching thread and see how it works
I love this idea, for a better finish when you cut the the applique fabric you must cut as well the part of sweatshirt fabric that is going to be dispossed, before the satin stitch, trust i would way better.
I tried that on the other side. That one on tiktok, and didn’t make a big difference. I’ll need to have my shirt match the thread, I think that’s the secret next time
What machine are you using? thanks I have a brother 10 needle. I am new to this Multi needle embroidery. That cut thread that defined the center was awesome and I’m wondering, do I have that on my machine?
I’m using Janome mb7 for the bows and for the merry I used my brother. Yes your machine has it. It’s scissors. It’s usually just to cut the thread after it stitch, but I found this hack to make sure it center
Thank you for this video. I was wondering if you or anyone would help me to download the image. For some reason, I am having a really hard time, buying svg, transferring them to my machine. Thanks...
Brilliant with the marker. Side note-you have beautiful hands.
Aww thank you so much 🥰
Great tutorial! I have a single needle machine and was concerned about it going over the seam on the band hem.
Thank you! I can understand, I’m not sure about that though. I may try it on my single needle
Got my sweater in the car and was ready to try it can’t wait. Heading to the shop and your video popped up!!❤
Oooh let me know how it works for you

Thank you. I tried that way with my other bow. It was better but not the way I wanted 100%. So going to keep trying it.
Thank you for this great video

I think you would want to cut the sweatshirt before the satin stitch then you wouldn’t have to color in edges.
I tried that on the other side. That one on tiktok, and didn’t make a big difference. I’ll need to have my shirt match the thread, I think that’s the secret next time
Hello new subbie!!!!!

How did you stop the cut edge at the bottom from fraying? It’s now a raw edge on the band where you cut.
I would use fray check. Since this is my daughter I didn’t. I did hit it with the lighter, and hopefully that keeps it

You need to get a svg file digitized. You can’t just use it for embroidery
It’s showing the white because you need to cut the fabric before you do the satin stitch.
I tried to do it the other way and it still did it. I’m going to try another bow. Maybe need a little thicker satin
@@kml3r Try that and see. Also the satin was in black on a white shirt, that might be at fault as well.
