Bass Fishing, GoPro over heating, Testing out the YI 4k action camera Bassfishing all day.

Since my gopro here 7 black has been overheating in this hot Florida Sun.... I've been experimenting with the YI 4k .. so far it's been working awesome at almost 1/4th the price of the gopro. Granted it's not 4k60 but it's 4k 30 and few other things. But for a chest cam for fishing it is an awsome deal. Been on 4 trips no issues with over heating it's on 10 hours a day.!
I bouth the white one for $98 so it absorbes less heat.

Hearing that a GP7 was overheating is disappointing as I have one on the way. I'm hoping your experience is a one off.
Colors with this camera seem a bit saturated, very similar to what I get when I use my GP knockoff. Great fishing action. Love how those bass loved that snake lure!

Agree overall image quality the gp7 is definitely better. But again 350 vs 89 and it gets the hook set with out over heating worth it. I still use the gp7 for underwater stuff just not gonna rely on it for any long recording.
