    The kid sticking their head in the fountain is exactly why I have reservations about this attraction. 😂 I love that you caught that moment. I think the concept is really cool, but also feel like some folks are gonna ruin the attraction really quickly.

      i’m not gonna lie. There are some pretty great photo ops in this area but in reality it’s a glorified splash pad.
      Especially the part in the end is going to get so messy when it comes to unattended children and people trying dumb stuff 😑

    You took a lot of the words right out of my mouth. This is more scenery then it is attraction and seems to be more geared towards smaller children. This is an interesting choice for a park not really geared towards small kids. I see it more as crowd control and a way to divert traffic from the world showcase although 151 people not much of a diversion.
    Overall think it’s a waste. I think Moana should have been a water ride attraction.

      it’s great to hear that. We have similar thoughts on the attraction! And I will reiterate again I did actually enjoy my time there. Unfortunately, it’s probably going to be a one and done.
      I don’t know if you remember last year, when Disney teased a possible water ride at animal kingdom for Moana, but as of this past weekend, they have changed their minds on that once again 🤦‍♂️

      for theme park, attractions downtime for certain elements is fully expected, heck, rise of the resistance saw elements, breaking down within the first six months of opening.
      But ONE WEEK into a preview is kinda crazy to see things already not working 🤯

    Looks cute. Few thoughts…
    1. Even with the education side of it, I think this fits Animal Kingdom better.
    2. Kid sticking their head in the fountain is super gross! I hope they built in some sort of filter system.
    3. As someone who also suffers from IBS, I’m offended. (Reminder to others with IBS, it is qualification to get a DAS pass.)
    4. Why isn’t this a ride queue leading to a moana ride?
    5. Even though it looks cute, I will probably not do it if it’s looking crowded.

    • @ForTheLoveOfThemeParksVlogs
      @ForTheLoveOfThemeParksVlogs  Год назад +2

      OMG THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO SAY ALL THIS
      1. I do think this would’ve made a great addition to Animal Kingdom, especially if they lean more towards the animal characters from the movie.
      2. I am sure they have a filtration system already in place. 😆
      3. It was mostly a joke, but i do really have IBS. Although, I do not use DAS for my symptoms because I mostly have it under control.
      4. That’s exactly what it felt like, very much like the seven dwarfs mine train line when it first opened.
      5. Same 😑

  • @coherentpanda7115

    Journey of Water looks like a really neat educational attraction... at a science museum. Not sure that it fits Epcot at all, this would have been perfect in Animal Kingdom. With it being so crowded and unsanitary, seems like a good place for a lot of germs to bloom. Hopefully they have strong filtering and scrub it down nightly. They need to put antibacterial soap dispensers at every exit of this attraction.

    • @ForTheLoveOfThemeParksVlogs
      @ForTheLoveOfThemeParksVlogs  Год назад

      They really should put at least hand sanitizer at the end. 👀
      Someone else said this in the comments, this would make a great thing for in the line of a Moana ride, like this is the build up for an actual ride… but yeah, not a lot of pay off here

    Ok, so, I don't think they are targeting people with bowl issues, not the same problem. More like those that are sick and trying to just motor on so to speak. You, myself etc, aren't suffering from a food poisoning, just may need use the toilet more often. Not a disease. I also think, especially since all the shut down and other issues, they are probably trying to cover all issue's. This warning has been a post in my state for years regarding pool use/ water parks use. So I'm used to it. The parents that let their kid stick his head in the water, is just another reason for Disney to cover themselves, with their notice....

      It definitely feels out of place in the center of Epcot, which is 100% very valuable real estate! But it also does not take up too large of a footprint, so I guess it works pretty well on that side of things.
      I’d definitely recommend trying it once if you get a chance 🤷‍♂️
