Had a 95 Impala ss years ago. I wan't one of these Caprice's. Chevy really screwed up not marketing this platform for the public. As in the Chevrolet ss. This caprice should have been the modern Impala ss. They might have even saved Holden from going down under. All that will be left will be the C8 corvette. Pathetic blazer just came out, while Ford is bringing what looks to be a winner in the Bronco.

My stock 2007 base vette with a LS2 and M/T weighs in at 3195 LBS with no driver. Around here the Caprice PPV are overpriced with far to many hours on them they idle those cop cars a lot. They share parts with the zata platform. Think of it as a four door Camaro/Cadillac. The ctsv diffs are a straight bolt in. Engine and trans can be mixed and matched with the other cars, wheels and tires swap over, a vast majority of suspension components ( eBay lowering springs ) . The main thing you want to do is get rid of the afm and the soft cam .
