Thanks for sharing. While the Tokyo and the rest of Honshu is melting in the heat, summer in Hokkaido sounds great. I visited in February. The ice sculptures in Odori Park were fun. Even if you're not a fan of the cold, it's a great festival to behold. I also find the view atop Mt. Miowa is a fun trip plus the Hokkaido milk ice cream at the top is delicious. P.S. ... Kaitensushi pasaaru is great little spot for sushi. And it's very fresh and affordable, especially when compared to the quality/price of the States.
We definitely enjoyed the break from the heatwave that's going on in Kanagawa, at some point it still got a little bit warm but definitely much cooler than Kanagawa and Tokyo 😁
