I have Michelin City Grip Winter on my PX200 - I fitted them for the snow last December then found them to be surprisingly good through the (unusually) long hot summer we had so kept them on. I changed the rear after 2700 miles but the front still has life after 3800 miles commuting on city streets
Hey Robot, great video my friend. I have a 2002 Vespa PX125 Disc. I'd like to run the widest tyre I can on the front and whatever I can on the rear. Looking at the Power Pure SE or the City Grip. Any advice you, or anyone else can offer would be greatly appreciated :)
Hey, robot ! Why is it so hard to get White Wall Continentals for a GTS250 in the states? I have been buying SHinko white walls, from you guys for years, but they just don’t last.
Best tyre for "grip" on the GTS is the Pirelli Diablo, yes is does not last as long as the city grips but for all out grip the Pirelli Diablo rules it's a great tyre.....The stock city grips are good but they take ages to get any heat into them and they skit a lot in the wet and don't feel planted BUT they do last long which is the selling point on them. I have tried all the tyres on the GTS and the Pirelli diablo is number one, also the Angel seems to be getting very good reviews.
Buongiorno per la mia vespa px. 150 quale mi pneumatico mi consiglia ora monto michelin s83 ma dietro ogni 6000/7000 si usurano dietro un po e in curva tengono poco quale mi consiglia per durare piu a lungo?
Hi Robot, I'm trying to buy an 05 vespa 150 that has 400 miles or kilometers, not sure. it has the italian headlight and badges, it has been sitting for many years in a warehouse. so I have been watching Your videos to learn as much as I can. I'll need help to get it back on the road, hope You can help me.
Hey Robot! It's time to change my old tires Mitas Touringforce-SC on my GT 200 Vespa. I'm thinking to put one size larger tires on front and the back. You say more stability, better handling and smother ride on highway. Do you actually recomend me to do this? For the price of better safety ... what's about top speed and acceleration? www.mitas-moto.com/en/products/scooter--tires/scooter--commuting--tires/touring--force-sc

What about the old Vespa Grande tires? the 16 and 17 inch tires? Can you order them or have them in stock?

I disagree. Have had no difficulty with the City Grip in the rain. Skidding may have to do with driving style and not the tire.
Any idea about mitas?
