Hot wind burns me Burning as I fall Cast away Speechless in the holy way I survive The scourge and banishing To scorching land I am lord, I take command (Fall from grace) Forgive me not This knowledge makes me strong To resurrect The cities of the damned All the treasures of Sodom Now belong to me - celebrate Fallen angels take my hand (Fall from grace) Whores long for my flesh And my desire Lust anointing me now Consume my soul [solo Azagthoth] [solo Brunelle] (I ride the flesh and the sinners of hell) (I am Belial) (I bend my knees not before my selfish desire) [solo Brunelle]
Blessed are the Sick is one of those albums that will always stand out from the rest of the croud, despite the fact its well over 30 years old. As far as Dave's vocals go, this is IMO he's best performance. So deep, so clean, compared to a lot of other Death metal singers that sound too gravelly and at times can be really hard to understand. This is also the first Morbid Angel album I heard, way back when I was 14, and because of this album I animatedly got interested in this more aggressive style of metal, particularly the drumming style of this kind of music. Before this the heaviest I had heard was Metalllica (Puppets / Justice) so this really opened my eyes.
Yeah. Panzer division Marduk. That's only what flew into my mind now. Panzer precision drum section, best ever metal, death metal Trey's paddle, second one - on a place and David Vincent. Even turn off own instrument not only in this piece. I'm not sure they are Stars or not, to know swedish Marduk. But i'm sure influences at all.
Rest in Power Richard Brunelle.
Indeed.
That last guitar solo, brunelle, 30 years later still makes my hair crawl..amazing thing.
Words cannot describe how truely awesome this song is.
Yep, so ShaaaaaaDuppo!
Yes, man, your words are true. Through the years, this song really burns heart.
True death metal.
I think the same... This Is beyond geniality.
This song is a real masterpiece.
I always liked the evolution of David's vocals as they were just a little different on every album he did w the band
I honestly think the Blessed era is his best
Hot wind burns me
Burning as I fall
Cast away
Speechless in the holy way
I survive
The scourge and banishing
To scorching land
I am lord, I take command
(Fall from grace)
Forgive me not
This knowledge makes me strong
To resurrect
The cities of the damned
All the treasures of Sodom
Now belong to me - celebrate
Fallen angels take my hand
(Fall from grace)
Whores long for my flesh
And my desire
Lust anointing me now
Consume my soul
[solo Azagthoth]
[solo Brunelle]
(I ride the flesh and the sinners of hell)
(I am Belial)
(I bend my knees not before my selfish desire)
[solo Brunelle]
Los solos son muy limpios de Richard
David Vincent is a beast on the bass!! 🤘
@Bart Lee And Vocals too specially in blessed and covenant \m/
David Vincent needs a power drink n.o.s.f.t.w.
I love this fucking record.
What a badass intro. Brilliant.
Classic album. Still sounds great.

Richard Brunelle forever!!!
Cool solo
i remember playing this in high school, and the teacher was disgusted!
The teacher was probably a Christian?
He was probably a pussy
@Alin Deac That's honestly awesome man:) it would be cool if there were more Christians that would listen to such music
You were lord, you took command.
@@GoatMeewhores longed for his flesh too 😂
Morbid Angel.👍👍
1:26 - best moment.
Demoníaco!
Con este disco conocí a Morbid!!!!
Melhor álbum de death metal de todos os tempos
Absolutely amazing.
What's the difference between the original version and the full dynamic range? What is full dynamic range?
FDR is supposed to be a replica of the original mastering. So unremastered.
It’s the original analog tape master they used to press the original pressings
Hearing this live last august 3 gave me goosebumps! 🔥🤘🔥

@@elpeluca7780 sounds like the intro riff of holy wars i guess idk
Dave Mustaine appears like Teletubbies in front of these guys.
Best song on albumn mo
1:01 lip smack lol
Will Les United States be around by 2045. Or gone because of outdated crusades
This song is basically how it feels to enact unholy vengeance on all wrongdoers
The only thing that I don’t like about this song is that I can’t turn it up any louder
Great songs on this album but I couldn't stand the way it's been mixed even back in 1991. Vocals too loud,. rhythm guitars too quiet
@Jason Stanleydo you mean the vocals aren't loud or the vocals are loud and that's the way you like it?
I agree
Vocals too loud and I don't like it
Agree with you big time. I also feel like the drums could be mixed better.
you have some shitty speakers.
Monsterpiece of Art.
