It's February 25th 2023. I just discovered both this channel and this series completely by accident and that's in spite of the fact that I've been viewing Street Fighter related videos for AGES. I intend to binge watch them all. Thanks for posting!
Because there's more folks complaining about how much this show did wrong that they can't enjoy this show for what it is. Even though if they wanted a more accurate SF, they should go and watch the animated movie or SF2 V series.
For the longest time, I thought this show was nothing more than a fever dream. I still remember it like yesterday. I was a Saturday morning cartoon kid like most kids my age were (i was probably 6ish years old), so I normally woke up around 7ish to catch Batman, X Men and Spiderman. Well this one random Saturday, I woke up WAY earlier than I usually did. I'm gonna guess I woke up around 530AM. My Mom was still sleeping so I just wandered out to the living room, flipped on the TV and looked for some tools to watch. The big name cartoon channels back then were Fox and WB I believe, so I went to those channels first, but it was too early and they weren't showing cartoons yet. So I kept flipping through the channels until I stumbled on TBS (?), and there in all its glory was this damn Street Fighter cartoon. I ADORED SF, and had no idea this even existed, so my 6 year old brain damn near exploded. I loved it. So I sat through the whole episode hoping there would be another one on after, but it was just that one episode and then Wildcats (?) or Mighty Max came on after that, and I didn't care much for either of those. But man I loved that Street Fighter cartoon! And I believe that was the one and only time I ever seen an episode of this show, and it only happened because I woke up earlier than I had ever before. Years go by, and randomly I'd think, remember that wild dream you had about waking up super early one morning and watching some make believe Street Fighter cartoon... come to find out, it wasn't a fever dream, and that Street Fighter cartoon was indeed real and its here in its entirety for me to watch on RUclips. I'm a 33 year old Man child with kids of my own now, and I still love SF just as much as I did when I was 6. I don't care how bad this cartoon is, I'm watching the entire thing. It'll be like reliving that fever dream all over again!
Christopher Perez Michael Donovan Does the Voice of Guile. He Also Voiced Conan in Conan The Adventurer & Grey Hulk in Season 2 of The Incredible Hulk Series Back in 1997.
@@shawnswint1521 Yep, he did a lot of voices for cartoons (and some leads as well, like Billy Lee in that Double Dragon cartoon, Ace Cooper, the hero of The Magician, and even El Rey in Mucha Lucha). Also, Michael Donovan voices Zangief.
This is not bad may be a gi joe clone but it was fun to watch, nice to see Guile as the main character but Ryu and Ken were the main ones. Chun Li hot in either version.
Since Americans are in charge, they made him a bad guy because he's bigger, does a lot of damage with his grabs and Russians in fiction are depicted as the bad guys. I mean Ryu is the main mascot of this series and was treated like a dumb side kick with morals. Ken fought and beat Akuma when it's Ryu's main rival to best plus Akuma and Ryu are father and son. Blanka being Charlie Nash for some weird reason and Honda is Hawaiian than Japanese. I have no idea how they made him that when his stage is clearly in "JAPAN".
he's portrayed as a bad guy cuz he's from the Soviet Union. i mostly don't like the idea of Zangeif as a bad guy cuz he is also portrayed as Bison's lackey n they need to get right with that.

I liked Guile's fight, mission, & team of Ken, Ryu & Chun. Bison's a menace (and Magneto-like, ha) & Blanka was wild. Ryu getting a blood transfusion from Blanka reminds me of Hulk/She-Hulk. No Blanka powers for Ryu, maybe. 😉 Fun ep.
This Episode Reminds Me So Much of That 90's X-Men 2 Part Episode ''Time Fugitives''. When Apocalypse Creates a Virus Capable of Destroying Both Mutants & Humans & It Was Cable That Discovered That The Cure Lied in Wolverine's Own Special Mutant Immune System.
I might not have been born when this show came out but im a big street fighter fan and this show is AWESOME!! ( btw I was born in 2000 and this show came out in 1995)

The reason why they keep making Zangief into a bad guy is because the makers think that his plot in the game represents "Nothing more than a Russian stereotype", well basically he doesn't have that much of a plot similar to E. Honda
