My amazing son was born on the 3rd time through of this album and born to The Wild. At 4 months old he was diagnosed with cancer and at one point we were told we would lose him. BELOVED was very almost a funeral son for him but we are so proud to say that he is now in remission at almost 18 months old and we're expecting again... he is definitely the wild and we cant wait to see what his brother or sister enters the world to. This album allowed me to deliver in the most calm and focused way and it was honestly the most transformative and pain free experience of my life. So thank you
Just got back here again now after almost 1 year and this reminds me of when I was in an extreme depression and having s*icidal thoughts 3 years ago. Delta album helped me through that hardest time in my life especially this song and to my surprise they held a concert in Stockholm months later. I was there at the concert crying my heart out almost during the whole concert. This song has brought me to life again. Thank you Mumford and Sons! I'm always looking forward to coming to your next concert and burst my happy tears again and again until there's no tear left! I LOVE YOU SO DEARLY 😭😭😭
I lost both my grandparents this past summer both of whom were in their 90’s. My Grandma went first and my Grandpa followed soon after, we assume due to a broken heart. He was the greatest man I ever knew. A kind fair gentle and faithful person. I used to listen to this song when I would sit with him just before he passed. I didn’t think about it at the time but I think now whenever I listen to this song I’ll think of him. He taught me what it means to fear God, as well as what it means to love God. To whomever reads this, may peace be with you my friend, no matter what you believe in.

I am so grateful to Mumford and Sons for existing. You were with me both in the best and in the worst moments, from "Sigh no more" to "Babel", "Wilder mind" and "Delta" which is so unique and special. The memories I associate your songs with are the most precious ones, this song in particular. "The Wild" can be so many things, but indeed it puts in us the fear of god.

What is the type of this music? Is any band play music like this? If i can google or search for other band that play music like this. I mean music like a film. Where it really sound dramatic + orchestra music + sing. Where the music at the beginning look slow and steady but keeping up step by step until the climax and end it nicely.
