I think a good cleaning before sanding would have been in order. It seems like it would just grind the oily dirt into the wood otherwise. I couldn’t watch the rest. Sorry!

This is the first refurbishment like this I have done. Point is that it was sat in the shed for years untouched, now I use it everyday so I consider it a great success!
