So he simplified the steps into the jumps (which I thought suited the music's languid start better) and made one spin entry a little harder with a twizzle. He needed that extra beat to prep for the biggest element, but even after that, he still had trouble with the landing of the final jump. Perhaps it'll get better with more practice.
Look like he added more steps and movement going to his last jump the combo. The extra transition messed him up. Hopefully he will be squeaky clean by GPF
@@evah.8442 It was already in the second half in the Helsinki programme. His landing wasn't good there so the GOE was 1.36 (individual scores ranged from 4 to 0, mostly 1s). The Russian one was 3.12 (5 to 3, mostly 3s). He needed an extra second.

he didn't need extra preparation, he wanted the last jump to be in the second half to get the bonus.
