I made a mistake by watching yuzuru"s performance first when I started getting interested in figure skating. Now all I can do is compare others to his and most times I just don't feel impressed by moves that are supposed to be "impossible" or extremely difficult
i recommend checking nam nguyen and kim yuna out. in terms of difficulty or technicality, maybe they're incomparable, but i still find their performances breathtaking and very entertaining to watch :D
I'm sorry but this is THE most insane thing that I've ever seen in my entire life. the power that he exudes when on ice is absolutely incomparable to anything else. I was at a loss for words and legit started crying halfway through from how moving this performance was. I remember being afraid earlier this year because I thought that yuzu had already passed his prime but looking at this now I don't even know what I was thinking. this boy just keeps getting better and better every time I see him. I don't even know what else to say anymore other than the fact that he's definitely one of a kind, an absolute legend, and I don't know if we'll ever experience witnessing anybody better than him

0rigin was a four-quad program with a sprinkling of stsq throughout. The combo is jumping in the second half, not the first half. There's no male senior skater who would want to do such a physically demanding program.
@@hiro9118 yeah, he keeps pushing his limits which is just unreal but something was always off about watching him perform origin, even he said it himself It wasn't the right program for him. with this program I was able to see a yuzuru that resembled his 2015 passion and it was just breathtaking to watch. with the 4cc from 2020 it looked like he was getting back into the swing of things too but ofc the pandemic occurred. I'm glad yuzuru is taking a break this season, focusing on his health, and more importantly taking the time necessary to come up with a new program that fully encapsulates who he is.

Just watching him skate is pure bliss for me. When he skates, I like how the flying ice adds to the aesthetics of his performance, especially when caught on camera. He is truly the GOAT. Also when the music builds, you see him build up the performance as well, then when it drops, so does he, especially during that jump, he timed it sooo well with the music drop. 👏
He is the most expressive and powerful ice-skater I’ve ever watched and I don’t think there will be anyone who is so graceful and who can emote so theatrically whilst balancing artistry and technicality the way he has. Many skaters I’ve seen are one or the other. None has found the balance he has and look so damn sexy like he has. *standing ovation plus tosses Winnie the Poohs on the ice*
Yuzuru gave something to every part of the audience. No one got left out. His long fascination with Phantom of the Opera has always intrigued me. That glove throw at the end is so passionate. Whew.
