Hi Mike! I've been binge-watching a lot of your productivity videos bc you give AMAZING advice! I've seen through your videos how hard you've been working on youtube, so I just wanted to leave a comment to support you :) Keep up the incredible work!!
Thank you for this! Also wanted to thank you for making these videos, I’ve been trying to apply cal Newport’s system for awhile now but could never fully wrap my head around it. This and your other ones explaining it has really helped me. Next week I’m trying this and the whole apple system. Thanks again!
Hi Miles, I am a bit of a journaling/planning addict and am constantly looking for the perfect system to use that has both digital and analogue aspects. I have watched your recent iOS 18 videos and hope that the updates will finally mean I can use the apple system across all my devices. I also love the idea of a weekly review and agree that physically writing something on paper seems to be more effective than typing a list on your phone etc. But was wondering how writing it out on paper first, reflecting and getting guidance on problems (Julia Cameron's Living the Artists Way talks about this.) but then transferring it in bullet form to notes/reminders would work as then you have it with everything else for ease of access? I will try this when the update comes out. Love your videos btw. You talk calmly and at a comfortable speed unlike others who whiz along and I don't get time to make notes. Thank you 😊
I have been struggling with the idea of weekly planning, I have ADHD and time blindness seem to be exacerbated by trying to look so far ahead into the future, yeah it seems like a lot to me, even planning my day is kind of a struggle. Any tips on keeping this in mind and doing it when you don't have any energy anymore?
Wonder if you have come across books about ACT (Acceptance-Commitment Therapy), which is about figuring out one's values and taking tangible actions that align with those identified values.
