Great tutorial as usual, question though: on your 5 by 7, would applying the white pieces of napkin underneath the focal point help with obscuring the background enough so the pattern in the background would not show through?
The napkin when glued down becomes transparent so that would not work. You could glue the napkin to white copy paper , cut it out . Glue napkin down first and then apply background color around the image...K
