Further testing confirms this is a decent tire cleaner but not as powerful as Adam's Wheel & Tire Cleaner, Carpro ReTyre, or Griot's 3-in-1 Wheel-Tire-Mat cleaner. I cleaned some nasty truck tires today with this and then went back over again with Adams. Adams pulled a lot of black and brown crap off the tire that this left behind. You will definitely need to clean the tire more than once with this product.
Martin, thanks for your video. I starting to use the Black Magic Blec-Wite Tire cleaner. Less than $5.00 for a quart at local Walmart. Years ago, I used the Wesley Tire cleaner and or Comet. Both are economical and seem to work.
@Adobo Mix westlys has not made that in many years. It's made by black magic now and it's dog 💩 compared to what's out there today. Super watered down product which is why it's so cheap at the store. Far from the best, maybe good for someone that washes their car once in a while.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa that’s crazy. I didn’t know that. 🤔. I’m just lazy to see what’s out there other than Wesley’s. Does that turtle wax remove greasy wheel dressing?
Adams Wheel & Tire is my current wheel cleaner of choice. I had previously used P&S Brake Buster which did pretty good on lightly soiled wheels and tires but Adams is far better. I want to try the new Griot's one though because the whole smelling good thing has appeal to me when I am working on a vehicle. I just prefer working with detailing chemicals that smell good AND work excellent too! I need to get all those new Griot's products that came out this year at SEMA to add to my Griot's products shelf in my detailing cabinet. Griot's is one of my favorite detailing companies.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa That's one downside to Griot's over the many others out there I don't like it that they have ALWAYS been higher than other companies and I think some of their stuff is rebranded stuff that's far too overpriced. But honestly, I don't mind paying for it because I just enjoy using their brand. I'll have to buy a gallon once I expend all my current Adams Wheel & Tire.
@@joevanseeters2873 I haven't tried diluting 1:1 yet like I do with adams though so that is still in the air, but personal use, a gallon will last you a long time. You can use my 10% off code in the video description at detailed image to save some money unless you have a wholesale account already.
You can get a gallon of Meguiar's D143 for around $25 dollars, dilute it 2:1 and it'll still work better than this stuff. The Adam's wheel and tire is nice also, but for the price and dilution ratio I always come back to D143.
Have you compared? Because this product just came out. I used up a whole gallon of megs. It's alright, still much prefer Adams so I don't have to go over the tire multiple times. I have a video comparing megs with adams and 3D if you want to check it out.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa Just from past chemical guys experience. Every wheel cleaner I tried from them is complete garbage. Meg's is hard to beat for the price. Your tires don't need to be surgically clean every time you clean them anyway. I just prefer and all in one rather than having to bust out two different products. Saves time and money.

My favorite retail tire cleaner is turtle wax in the green bottle, about 4 dollars and works incredibly well.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa Thanks for your response, have a great day!
Lol. Wesley’s tire bleche. My dad used that 20 years ago on his camaro. Now I use that. Still the best!! 👍🏻👍🏻

In my recent testing, Griots holds up to Adams in its ability to clean a tire in one pass. Quite pricy though.

@@sixsixST2 that's why I mentioned in the video chemical guys has more misses than hits. this product however is a good one.
Adams still the best
