if they use this megaman, you can expect protoman and bass to be somewhere, maybe in the backgrounds, maybe as one of those summon supports. maybe just as alternative color palletes for megaman
megaman has been in multiple beat em ups on multiple consoles (together with roll and zero). so if you want him so bad, just go searching for him. i believe he was in marvel vs capcom which was rereleased for sony and microsofts consoles already
yeah about that... art styles will change from time to time. when you look at it and remember that is a company, they are trying to make something that likes to the most posible public and that is acording to their own likings as well. They will sometimes change their style if they think that they can get more people like that (as long as that doen´t makes them do something they don´t want to do). It's just strange seeing as we've gone from a very dark and detailed art style to this bright smooth and happy detail in this new game.

A step forward, actually. In brawl the characters had a little TOO much "realism" in their designs. Its Nintendo characters, and they are not really supposed to look like this. I appreciate what they tried to do, but this looks much better.

Mega man has at least three songs. MM2 Dr. wily stage 1, Woodman, and Metalman. The boss intro music is probably his victory fanfare.
