Good news about the TB test enjoy your time off i slid down a hill once years ago backwards on a Nuffield 460 with a star 1000 gallon slurry tanker on behind and only the tanker hit an ash tree in the hedge there was a 5ft drop into a brae then a main drain every time I see the tree i put my hand on it as if to say thanks as it really did save my life 🙏
Thankfully you walked away from that Josh, I have had a similar experience decades ago on my uncles super major heading downhill in a steep field to a gateway out onto a lane that has a stream running alongside side it, had it in low gear and applied brakes every few feet but it just got very fast very quickly, nothing I tried would slow it and couldn’t turn before bottom of hill near gateway or it would definitely have rolled. Very scary learning experience that I was amazed to walk away from. Stay safe mate.
Yep absolutely! Had the same thing, kept touching the brakes but wouldn’t do anything, tried catching up using the gears but that didn’t help either! Just had to keep it straight and hope I stopped before the road!
Thanks for the video Josh. Yeah anyone in agriculture if their being honest, has had similar experiences, its what I call part of learning. Mine was in 1977 on a David Brown 885 pulling a load of bales that was far to heavy for the tractor and the early morning dew had made the grass wet and off she went, thankfully got it under control at the bottom of the hill. Never made that same mistake again. Enjoy your break and golf, and yeah seeing what you get up to outside of the farm would be good too. Thanks.
I think we all have had a brown trouser moment (or a few of them) in our lifetime Josh. Just shows again how simple things can happen. A week in the life of Josh outside of work would be good!
My husband used to work those fields back in the late 70's & 80's & some yrs ago a tractor & dung spreader went over the edge .... The field to the east a farmer got killed yrs ago when the tractor went over the edge & landed on him ( no cab )...
You were lucky there Josh. As a non farmer I had to look up ‘IR’ (inconclusive reactor). Is this something new that could help farmers or is it just very rare to only have IR’s and not have any reactors or are IR’s often thought of / treated as as reactors to preserve the rest of the herd? Hopefully it’s retest in 60 days will prove negative 🤞🏻 Enjoy your time off (if you want to maybe you could just put a short blooper reel or something together from old footage for next week a bit like you’ve been framed maybe) and not feel the need to film anything new so you can relax on your time off, creating content is work after all and we all should be able to just have time off / holidays to step away from everything and chill doing other things sometimes. Enjoy your week.
I was heather! Sorry I should have explained better! IR’s would be fairly common. I guess they are there to allow for any reaction to a needle rather than what’s in the jab itself. If an IR is retested as an IR 60 days later then it is a reactor. But they essentially get a second chance!
Glad your Testing went well. At least your Brown trouser moment ended ok 👍
@@andymercer8092 I’m very grateful it did! 🙌🏼

Thanks Fraser! I know everyone has moments, I’ve had a few! This one was particularly scary at the time as it caught me off guard completely!
