Shaft Alignment Pro is an android application used in the field to make easy the shaft alignment activity of rotating equipment such as pump, compressor, and gas turbine.
The application calculates correction needed by adding shims or moving the movable machine to align the equipment after one reading.
This application can calculate the correction compare to the shaft alignment specification.
Key Methods:

if we tighten the bolt, vertical down movement may increase. Shall we add shim for overcome this tension ?

I applied the reading rim and face method -1 formula and apps, received a different answer. Face 6° = -0.59 and Rim 6° = -0.06 got the answer in formula FFV = 0.415, BFV = 0.655, got the answer apps FFV= 0.18, BFV= 0.05
